seriously, i hated coming to this class. she laughed at things that weren't funny, and is weird about things that everyone else thinks are normal. she is very annoying, and i wouldn't recommend being around her for an hour, its not worth it.

Shannon Garland is a good professor. Dont judge her at first because she lightens up after about a week. Dont piss her off. Come to class, do your homework, and give her your attention and you shouldn't have any problems. She is very nice.

Mrs. Garland was an awesome professor...she is so excited about literature and that makes you excited about the subject. You have to study for the tests but she lets you know what to study. I recommend her for any ENG class!!

Best professor I've had so far! She is just like one of us. Mrs. Garland makes class fun. You read before each class, take an easy quiz, and then discuss the topic the rest of the class time. Quizzes and 4 easy papers are the only assignments. She is young, funny, and relates to her students. Take her! You will look foward to class!

Mrs. Garland is a very nice, helpful professor. The only thing is, you must do the assigned reading because you will be quizzed almost every class period. Her tests are pretty easy though, and she thoroughly explains what she expects. I highly recommend her.

Mrs. Garland is an excellent teacher. She really cares about each individual student if they are interested and try their best. Just do the assigned readings and you'll be fine, her tests are easy and she's very clear in what she wants her essays to be about. Take her if you get the chance.
