Dr. Neese is really an awesome professor. He cares about his students and about what he teaches. He honestly wants you to succeed and helps you get there. I wish he were my grandpa, but I'll settle for my fav history prof.

Dr. Neese is HILARIOUS! I'm not a history major, but I wish I was. He is a great teacher and someone I'd love to go get a beer with. I'm sure he has stories for days! Honestly, the material is straight out of your high school US history and Govt class. Literally, if you attended high school in the USA, you should get an A in this course!

Easily my favorite professor I've had at Brockport. He's a great guy who genuinely cares about all of his students passing and understanding material. Class grade is based on a couple multiple choice tests, 2 primary source summaries, and a final paper on any topic relating to the Vietnam War. He is a true gem, I plan to take more classes with him!

Professor Neese is a great guy and everyone in my class respected him. He's a really nice guy and genuinely cares about how you do. At the end of the semester, he'd personally meet with everyone to tell them how they're doing and how they need to do on the final. He also is great at giving encouragement. However, his courses can be difficult.

Really really cool guy, very knowledgeable about the topics and definitely doesn't take himself too seriously. The class isn't hard if you pay attention during the lectures and look at the powerpoints. The tests are all based on lectures and powerpoints and you don't need the textbook. There's a final paper on whatever you want, too. Great class!

Honestly, the most boring class ever. But dude knows his stuff and he throws a corny joke in from time to time. Tests are straight forward (4 unit exams, midterm and final), couple book summaries, plus a 4-7 page paper on whatever you want. Fairly easy straight forward class, but VERY BORING.

Biggest boss around! Great teacher. He is very passionate about his lectures and teaches american history in a unique and interesting light. Likewise, he has the swag of the century, nicest leather jacket in town! hes that teacher you just want to chill out and sip a brew with!
