Comment:

Yes as most student says she is boring and knows her stuff. However, it class is pretty simple. it was only three requirements: MANDATORY ATTENDANCE (she do sign-in), 3-6 page midterm, & Social Legislature presentation regarding a California Bill. Used only one book which was the "Social Problem" so don't buy the other one because she didn't use it

This is one of the most pointless classes I have ever taken in my college career. Not only did I learn nothing from this course, but she is quite the grump as well. She is extremely knowledgeable about what she does but does not know how to reflect it onto someone else. You will be confused about assignments and never know when anything is due.

Horrible class. Very unorganized. She is teaching an online class for the first time and doesn't know how to teach online. She gives you an assignment and you basically have to research everything yourself through google. Can we have textbooks please? Hate this class. Very unprofessional. Many students complained and even met with the dean.

She can be rather boring during lecture. She's not too clear on teaching the material but it was an easy class. Midterm is a 3-6 page paper, 1 presentation on social legislation and a final exam. Need to read the book to understand material but the book is very easy to read and cheap!

She is an awesome professor. She's very knowledgeable especially when it comes to this specific class. We had 5 quizzes that were straight from the textbook and one 4 page professor. Read the book and come to class and your good. People take advantage of her leniency by not showing up but I always enjoyed her lectures. Def. would take again.

She is a great professor and knows what she teaches. She is a Social worker at a hospital so she relates her lectures to actual real life situations that she face. After taking her class i have a better idea of what Social work field i would like to go in

She is the worst professor I've ever had. Never know when anything is due, never know what your grade is. Absolutely no clarity on assignments. She is rude and unapproachable. Class is a waste of time. I learned more from reading the book than her "lectures". It's clear she doesn't care about teaching or her students.

I thought she was a great professor. She is old and grumpy, which is why many find her as rude and horrible, but she is not. She can be very sarcastic and will put you on the spot if you don't know your information. Very interesting lady and great stories and easy class.

Hands down, WORST PROFESSOR I HAVE EVER HAD. She responded to ONE email from me the entire semester, get's pissed when you ask questions, and is not clear on ANY of her whopping 4 assignments. Terrible. Terrible. DO NOT TAKE

Horrible, horrible, horrible. She was never clear about any assignments and didn't even know her own syllabus. She added assingments last minute that she SWORE were on the syllabus but weren't. She never gave grades back and when asked she would not give you a breakdown to know why you received a grade. HORRIBLE teacher. DO NOT TAKE.

She can be nice at times, but that's it. She is super disorganized and is late to every class period. There is 3 presentations, one midterm, a couple page papers. She lectures straight from the book, but you will not learn a thing! If you want to learn something and not be confused all semester long then I highly recommend to NOT take her!

Not recommended. Showed up 10-20 minutes late to EVERY SINGLE CLASS! There is little to no organization in this class. You can teach the material better to yourself from reading the book. Lectures straight from the book. Take home midterm, 3 presentations, and a couple 2 page papers. She is nice, but does not do a great job of teaching.
