Oh My Lord. I dont even know where to start. Dr. Bryant might have been at the top of her game long ago but that time is definitely not now. She has literally skipped/forgotten about my advising sessions for registration which is unforgivable when you are trying desperately to register for classes to graduate. Terrible advisor, ok teacher.

Comment:

This is an extremely difficult class. It should be called "A Comprehensive History of Music" instead of "Exploring Musical Styles." If you don't have musical background or a serious interest in the history of music, this class will be very difficult. I read every word of every lesson and still struggled.

She's a sweet woman, but she was absolutely unprepared for every class. We only had to attend one hour a week. She could hardly work the computer to play music samples or video clips and rarely had a lesson plan. Group work was entirely pointless. Learning quizzes were the only useful tool for exams.

Dr. Bryant is so unconnected with reality. She is always spacing out, nervous, and NEVER prepped for class. She also teaches a music tech. class, but has no idea how to work computers.

She was a lot of fun. I really enjoyed her class. I wouldn't say she was flighty just nervous. I would take any of her other classes.

High as a kite most days, and highly forgetful. She is a very nice person, however, after being my advisor for four years, still didn't know my name.

She was a little flighty. Seemed like she was nervous in front of large groups. The class is pretty easy through, I didnt do any of the reading and I still had an A+. I wrote down the learning quiz questions, which you can take as many times as you need, on flash cards and studied those before each test. A good portion of exams ?'s are from LQ's!

Doctor Bryant was a little spacey, but she was super sweet. She has learning quizes that you can retake until you get all the answers right, and then the tests are a lot like the quizes. It's a fairly interesting class, especially if you like music, and it is definetly a GPA booster!!

There is no way you should get lower than a B in this class. Online quizzes that you can retake and tests that mirror them make it really easy. The only thing you have to watch out for is her taking the quizzes offline or misgrading tests. Oh, we had 5 or 6 days off too.

Class pretty easy. Professor a little flighty. Online quizzes (that you can retake after seeing the right answers the first time) make the class simple to get an A or B in. Really helps your overall grade!
