Just so boring Her tests are online and you barely have time She wrote THREE textbooks that you need and they are pretty expensive and she makes you bring them to class. One of the girls in my class forgot her book and that's ALL she talked about during class making the girl feel bad for 2hrs 30 min in class. It was so annoying. Group discussions!

Very genuine and kind-hearted person. Only has 4 tests that are online so you don't show up to class. Uses group collaboration in class a lot. Everyone does a group presentation and writes a group essay, which are both very easy. Gives lots of extra credit and sometimes it's based off of just showing up. Easy A if you even put in a little effort.

Horrible at teaching... all her test are online so if you hate begin timed and rushed don't take her class... also her wording is horrible and it shows in her test. worse teacher i ever had.... lectures are pointless....

Worst professor ever. Writes her own textbooks so be prepared to spend over $200 on this one class. Tests are worth 80% of the class so make sure you take it with kids in the class. Only good thing about the class was that it was once a week. Can't I'm a Sport Management major who had to take a AIDS class.

I felt like this class was super repetitive. You learn about the same region and topics over and over and over. All the exams are multiple choice and online so it wasn't hard, just super repetitive. There was a group project and paper which was only worth 5% of your grade each so it isn't too bad. Overall an ok class but i would never take it again

Tiantian is a great professor! Shes compassionate and caring. I had her for three classes, and am very happy I got to take classes with her! The tests are hard, but theyre all open book, but do the readings and theyll be easy!

Pretty easy class, no essays or homework. Just one group presentation and a few tests. tests either have super easy questions or super hard questions, so either study hard or don't bother at all. In the end, a pretty easy GE. you get 3 absences too

This professor is extremely engaging in class and often brings her cultural experience growing up in China to help support ideas we discuss in class. Her test are moderately difficult and require you to in much effort into reading the textbook and studying prior to the exam. If you are interested in the medical field and cultures you will love it!

Tiantian is hands down the worst professor I had while in Cortland. After hearing her make disgustingly misrepresentative statements about the material she "taught," I ended up changing my major out of disgust. She is a plague upon Cortland and her classes should be avoided at all costs.

Adorable. The class is super easy and her lectures are always entertaining. Tests are super easy and as long as you take semi-efficient notes and read the short readings you'll do perfect. Doesn't care about attendance, easy grader on other assignments.

She is a very nice lady. She keeps class interesting. Don't let her name scare you away. She speaks English very well. Her class is pretty easy. Her tests come right off of her slideshows. She is very direct and gives you a review sheet for tests with exactly what is on them.

Pretty easy class. Most of the stuff is common sense but there are question on the test about the readings that you have read to get right. Class is interesting and there is not a lot of work. There are 5 test (multiple choice and 2 tests with an essay), one small project and one a one page paper you need to write. There is no final or midterm.

Such a sweetheart! Try to make her laugh; it's really adorable. She's a wonderful professor-- very knowledgeable, helpful, and kind. Her classes are very easy as long as you pay attention. She uses a lot of films, so you're better off not skipping class. Bonus tai chi demo if you ask nicely!

Shes the cutest thing ever. Tests are pretty easy... for the most part.. part of the tests are from the slides.. those questions are easy but then she asks questions from a separate textbook which are very confusing and often worth the most on the test which is why alot of people do good on some tests and bad on others. Not a hard class.
