I feel that as online, this was TOUGH. I get BIOL2111 is a lot, but time was very limited in quizzes & exams. This made it really hard and I felt rushed although I had understood the material. The time frame for the quiz/exam was also challenging for my schedule. I honestly never felt like I wanted to give up in school till I took this course.

I've missed so many assignments and exams due to how little time she would open her quizzes and exams and she doesn't give you that much time to complete the quizzes and exams, it's like just rushing and answering to get it over with rather than carefully answering. She does give and provide you with lots of resources on lecture and labs.

TInna Ross is a nice teacher overall but her lab class was one of the worst classes I had in life. She would make us complete lab exams and quizzes in a short amount of time and put the whole word bank on the questions which would make the question more confusing. It felt more like a how fast can you answer the question. Would not recommend. .

Dr. Ross was a good teacher. The class itself is a ton of work. Generally 2 chapters a week with a quiz and a homework assignment for each chapter. Also a 2 part midterm and a 2 part final. Way too much work for a 1 credit course if you ask me, but it is very informative and you will learn a ton if you choose to take the course!

I took her for online medical terminology, she gives way to much homework and to many quizzes, and it is very time-consuming. She gives way to much work for being a 1 credit class.

Tinna Ross is a wonderful human!! She helps, she cares, she is dedicated to students and teaching. This is a tough class, but she has put so much effort into extra material and study aids for students. She also gives weekly task announcements with advice and lists of tasks to be successful for the week. So helpful!

Tina is hilarious and really passionate about her material. A and P 2 is a hard class in general but she makes it as enjoyable as possible. She's so down to earth and understanding. You will get the grade you deserve and that all depends on how much you put in to it. Tina is a fair grader and puts her class together well. Would love to take her

Loved her class. I Took it fall 2017 and she was the best professor i ever had. She prints out her notes or makes them available for printing , you need to bring them to class. I rarely used a book. She's amazing. There might be a set of notes she doesn't post online. although attendance doesn't matter, you need to go to class to get that one.

This bio class is known for weeding people out with its dense in-depth material but Dr. Ross KNOWS how to teach. Provides TONS of study guides, pre-tests, extra video lectures, worksheets etc.. Do all the work and extras and you will pass, if not you are toast. Unconventional teaching style that works! Kind, funny and works hard for students!

I took this in the summer, so it was accelerated and the lecture portion was online. All that considered, I thought her class was great. Time consuming? Yes. But did I learn a lot? Also yes. Dr. Ross' class is difficult, but you kind of have to expect that from an a and p class. She was helpful, funny, and gave us lots of resources to study with.

Tinna taught the lab portion of the class. She really knows her material, but can be overwhelming. She's the type of teacher that lets you figure it out on your own and won't give you much instruction. When you ask questions she almost makes you feel like it was a dumb question. Overall she's nice but just not all that helpful at times.

I really liked having Professor Ross because she provided the class with a substantial amount of resources to help you on the exams with and she was always happy to help. However, you need to actually put in a lot of work (studying) to actually pass!!

I really really liked Professor Ross. Lectures are difficult for me but she gave a lot of visual examples and was very available to students. I would definitely recommend her for General Biology! She did assign a lot of Mastering homework but it helped me out SOO much with studying and applying to information!

Really enjoy the way she runs lecture. She provides note packets on d2l that are filled out as lecture goes, and that is everything that will be on the test, so no having to read hundreds of pages in a textbook and try to guess what will be on there. It is definitely tough material and exams really test your full knowledge, so study, study, study!

Dr. Ross is a great person, but her teaching style wasn't for me. I struggled in both AP1 and AP2. She is extremely funny, and time goes by in a breeze with her jokes and silliness. Tests: KNOW EVERYTHING BACK AND FORTH!!! The tests are multiple choice, all the answers CAN be the right answer, but there is ONLY ONE CORRECT answer.
