In my first semester of college, I took this class after my advisor recommended Todd. The class was fun and very interesting! There is little homework at all except a few readings here and there, but it takes maybe an hour to do! Todd Davis is a caring and nice professor. Take ENGL050 with him and you'll be very pleased!

Todd is a very nice guy that is passionate about what he does. He makes you read both short stories and poems. If you find writing boring DO NOT take this class. He makes you write and share your writing with others. Overall, though, it is a nice class and he's a nice guy and recognizes effort. No tests/extra credit. No final.

Todd is a great teacher. He's there to help you and he gives you assignments that everyone can handle. The class is mainly workshopped so be prepared to share your work, and the classes that aren't workshopped are discussion based. Pretty easy class with an easygoing dude.

Todd is a passionate guy not only about his writing, but the outdoors as well. He can get off topic sometimes, and he can be tough with grading your writing, but will help you improve. I enjoy his lectures, though they can drag on. Overall, he challenges you to become better and smarter and will share some good stories here and there too.

Dr. Davis is an A+ professor!! He has helped me improve my writing immensely! Half of the semester was spent with short story reading and writing and the other half was spent with poems. If you are not used to modern poetry it might be a little confusing, but don't let that stop you from taking this class!! He is a unique professor.

Prof. Davis is the kind of professor who truly cares about making a lasting impact on his students. His class was very interactive. He'll take you on a hike that counts for most of your class grade. I thoroughly enjoyed his class. Also, it was incredibly easy, show up and pass. But if you want to learn about something ask.

Although Todd is an inspiration in his own right, his lectures were really long. Not that it's a bad thing, but I am not into nature at all and it was slightly boring for me. He rambles a little bit but his stories eventually come full circle. He is nice, nonetheless. Take this class if you like science and nature, I don't recommend otherwise.

Professor Davis is definelty one of the best english teachers I have ever had. The books he had us read were interesting, and his lectures were entertaining. As long as you read the book assigned you should get a good grade in this class. He is really laid back and willing to help all of his students. I am really happy I took the course.

he's a good teacher even though he talks a lot, most of the time it's really interesting, you had to read a couple Vonnegut books but they were a good read, i had fun i bet you will to (you use a lot of mla format so know it inside and out)
