Comment:

Hands down the best professor I've had in my entire college career. Prior to Covid-19, I would always look forward to going to his class. Always makes my day, super funny, plus he is great at breaking down difficult concepts. I had him for Business Calculus, and if he was teaching Calculus 2 I wouldn't hesitate to take it with him.

Comment:

THE GREATEST MATH PROF. I struggle in math, yet his teaching skills are the greatest. I learned so much & felt confident taking these intimidating math exams. Have patience when it comes to his grading, he is a family man. So you may not see your grades the DAY OF. He extends HW,CW if needed! I wish all MATH PROFS. were like him. So caring & funny.

Comment:

Tony is a good professor and he honestly makes it hard to skip class, just because he's a funny guy. He sometimes goes on tangents about cooking and other stuff but overall his class was fine. He's an easy grader and will extend homework if you need it. The only complaint I have about him is he was a bit unorganized.

attendance is not mandatory, but i would not recommend missing too much as you may fall behind in material. Great professor! Allows for extra credit and is a fair grader. Would HIGHLY recommend!

Great professor! He's so funny and he made me enjoy going to math. There's easy quizzes, pretty easy tests, and weekly WebAssign homework. He drops an exam and a quiz. The only reason I didn't do too well was because I always forgot the homework, so I highly recommend doing it.

Easy class. Took him for Math 125 and he was great. Lots of homework, but they are online. Quizzes are easy and half of them are take home. Tests are OK if you study well. HE IS AN EASY GRADER and wants to help his students. He will help you in his office hours. TAKE HIM if you had the chance.

Comment:

Tony is the best math teacher I've ever had! He cares about his students and gives them many chances to get the best grade possible. He makes sure to fully explain new concepts and review lessons that students have questions on. It is hard to get a good grade if you don't show up to class, but if you miss it is easy to catch up and ask for help.

Comment:

Tony is so nice and willing to help you in class/during office hour. I took this in HS so it was easy but if you haven't take pre-cal then you might need more help bc it's a lot of info. You need Classnote to take notes & Wiley+ to do your hw, if you don't finish the hw just ask him to extend it. Quizzes almost every Friday but some are take home

Although attendance doesn't count into the grades, he gave random quizzes. Thus, I advise you to show up. His tests & papers are not out to kill; he had shown a lot of mercy to everyone. His class is exceptionally hilarious too. Take him if you want to have an enjoyable mathematics class.

Tony was extremely hilarious! He knows his math so he doesn't struggle with teaching. There were three exams throughout the semester. If you study the study guide, you will easily pass. The final was a combination of all, but still was difficult. Homework was easy. He is very flexible and if you request to postpone something, he will.

literally THE BEST prof Ive ever had! HILARIOUS and gets along with everyone! He teaches in a way that is super easy to understand and his office hours help so much! everyone came to his office. will not regret taking his class. I never write reviews but I would write many more for tony because hes that good

He is super funny and gives deep speeches about relationships. He is easy and extends homework as much as possible. Test are not hard and takes his time teaching lectures. Makes sure we understand a subject and clarifies if needed. He failed me by one point and was not willing to help me in my situation. Good teacher but, not caring at all!

Best math teacher I have had in a while. His lessons are super easy and he goes over them well, extends homework as needed, and tells you what will be on the test. Homework it time consuming and way harder than the tests! Highly recommend taking his class!

Literally one of the best professors ever! I hate math but Tony makes it so much better. Makes it clear for students and is super helpful when you dont get something. Hes accessible outside of class for additional help! Our entire class loves him and he is one of the funniest professors. Gives so many opportunities to raise your grade. recommend!

One of the best professors I have taken my whole life. Basically doing practice problems every class to prepare for tests. About 5 tests and a final. 110% would take again!

Comment:

Pros: Tony is a really easygoing and funny professor. He'll extend due dates for HW and interacts with the class. Cons: Personally, I did not feel that he taught the material very well. I had to teach myself most of the chapters b/c he rushed through them and made it more difficult than it was. Online HW + study guides were time consuming.

LOVE HIM!! He makes math really easy and somewhat enjoyable. He's very funny and caring, offers extra credit. Quizzes are extremely easy and sometimes take home. He knocks off your lowest scores on homework and quizzes. Doesn't really care if you miss class so it's not mandatory that you go. Would recommend if you have a hard time with the subject

I love Tony!! Easily the best teacher I ever had and I actually looked forward to class he always made me laugh. Also the first grade I've gotten in math higher than a C. Highly accessible outside of class and the greatest teacher. Not a hard grader and is always looking to give points.

Professor Pham was such a great professor for a student who hates math! He made the course so much more bearable with his hilarious tangent stories. He extends the homework when you ask him to!
