Comment:

Best psychology professor. I have gone on to graduate school and am working on my doctorate and his classes still stand out as the most memorable and informative. He really challenges you, but helps you get there if you are willing to put in the work!

Comment:

Research Methods is HARD with Bissonnette. BUT his lectures truly do help so much with understanding the material and applying it. He is very readily available to help. His tests are SO hard -- no multiple choice ever and all short answer or statistic problems. You have to study hard to do well in this class but I am glad I took his course!!

Loved Dr. Bissonnette! Very nice guy who always made sure everyone understands everything he talks about. Two papers. 4 exams. Exams are multiple choice but they're decently hard. As long as you read the book and do the practice tests though you're good. Gave the oppportunity for you to get 5 whole extra credit points on your FINAL GRADE! Loved him

I did not like the way this course was set up at all. Quizzes before almost every class--insanely hard. Wants students to learn everything before he goes over it, which is understandable, but doesn't clarify what exactly we need to know. He also wants us to learn too much in a short amount of time. Tutors can't even help. Never learned it.

He's a great person, but his classes are really difficult and you have to work really hard for a good grade. You definitely will learn a lot though. If you're going to take a class from him, take anything except for research methods classes.

Dr. Bissonnette is a great teacher! His lectures are interesting and very relevant to our tests. If you study and read the book and sorta pay attention, I guarantee you will pass this class. Attendance is mandatory. He really inspired me, good luck getting into one of his classes though (they're all FULL! D:<)

I've had him for two different classes, and I fail to see why everyone thinks he's so hard. Admittedly, I'm coming into research methods as a hard science major, but I doubt anyone would have any trouble if they put in any real effort. The class was a little boring at times, but he's fairly good at explaining things.

Dr. Bissonnette, is one of the best professors. He isn't necessarily easy, but is very helpful. I would encourage you to take him. You just need to show up to class, do your work, read the text and you will do great. If you show up during office hours he is beyond helpful. He is one of my favorite professors!

You will truly learn in this man's classes. He is incredible for Research Methods and he makes History and Systems much more intersting than it sounds. Social Psych is his specialty. I easily aced my grad-level History and Systems class based on what I learned frmo Dr. B.
