Professor Lenday gives very clear, detailed lectures. She is very organized and helpful. Bio 227 is not easy. You'll have to study a lot no matter what professor you take. She will rush at the end of the semester which can be a little stressful. Lendway is a good professor and I highly recommend her.

ANITA LENDWAY IS SO SWEET. MY LAB PARTNER AND I LOVE HER. OUR CLASS IS NOT FINISHED UNTIL 12-11-14. SHE HAS A SENSE OF HUMOR AND GOES BEYOND LECTURE WITH SHOWING HER PROPS AND IS VERY HANDS ON. SHE HANDS OUT A LOT OF HANDOUTS PER CHAPTER BUT ITS VERY USEFUL.. DO NOT MISS A DAY. YOU WILL BE LOST. AND SHE IS VERY ORGANIZED. ONLY 2 EC ASSIGNMENTS

Mrs.Lendway knows her anatomy& physiology.I've learned a lot from her class. Her notes are good. she will stay after class if you need extra time on a lab or if you have any questions.If you put the time & effort in this class and study for the quizzes & exams. you will do fine. They are not easy but you'll learn from her. Great teacher!

I thought that her teaching style was all over the place and most likely confused more kids than it helped. She was constantly flipping back and fourth from pictures to notes. She also did not leave enough time for the end units, and rushed through them, which wasn't. overall she was a good teacher, but you will have to put in work.

Comment:

Killer cookie jar and great sense of humor. She's very sweet. It's a tough class, but anything worth having is worth fighting for. It's worth knowing what she can teach you. Go in knowing it won't be easy. Ask what you can do differently and how she can help you do that before getting frustrated. She wants to be your ally if you're wiling to try.

She brought candy and cookies everyday. She uses notes only basically, and only referred to the text book for diagrams. She's hardcore on students coloring for the notes, but you can stay afterwards to get help with coloring (which I needed everyday). The tests are hard, but simply use the homework to go off of. Personality, she's funny and cool.

She is a great instructor-- notes are extremely helpful and the packets are great too! However, we spent so much time on the reproductive system that I don't even understand the respiratory system at all because we learned it in 2 days. I got an A in the class but I worked really hard! Study and rewrite your notes and do the objective questions.

This class was one of my favorite classes, but it was not easy. It requires a lot of studying. She was an awesome teacher, very thorough and definitely made sure you understood the material. Not only does she care about you learning, but she cares for her students on a personal level. She is also very helpful whenever you need help with anything!

This is not meant to be an easy class. She wouldn't be doing you any favors by making it easy. Understanding this is vital to a healthcare field. Lendway knows the subject. It's a lot to teach in a short amount of time. She does make herself available to help. There's no magic equation for an A. Work hard. You get out of it what you can put in.

I am so optimistic because I took this class. her way of teaching was incredible and I understood it very much,I took everything as a story.If the story is interesting,it would stick in the mind of the person and thats what happened with me. her teaching experience is wonderful but I wish if we had more class hours to concentrate more on the topics

Towards the end of the semester she started getting pretty disorganized. She is not very clear or concise with her message. I would get A's on tests because I studied but low scores on labs because she never communicates clearly what she wants. She spends a lot of time teaching things that are relevant, but not necessary for the class.

Ms. Lendway loves loves loves to talk. She will spend forever on the first few units, and towards the end of the semester will fall incredibly behind and cram entire units into one class each. This class covers a LOT of material so be prepared for 3 straight hours of lecture. study HARD.

Bio 227 is a HARD CLASS no matter who is teaching it. Prof Lendway knows her stuff and really pushes you to know the details, as that's what you'll need in the real world. Her tests are hard, but if you want to get into the medical field you need to study. Study hard and you'll get an A. I still use her notes to this day as reference material.

She is the worst professor I ever had. She gives a lot of extra works. tests are extremely hard. she takes points off for spelling mistakes. I am sure any professor would be better than her. Please friends, don't take her class. An average student will never pass her class. I guess she likes making it hard for students. Once again, don't take her.

She is overly detailed. Her test are extremely hard! But, she will make time to give u indivi. help! She really wants u to do good and is a sweet person! Lectures can be boring! I heard that she will allow u to re-take test (but it's more of a one on one thing u can work out w/ her)! Very few people get an A in her course!!!

Although this is a very complicated and hard subject, Prof. Lendway has the ability to break it down into logical steps for ease of understanding. There may not be a lot of free time in this class but she wants everyone to succeed. I enjoyed her class, her tests were very hard but when this class ended you understood the subject.
