Prof Edwards is a fair teacher. Weekly writing based on assigned readings, 2 posts/week. Must read enough to get the point of each reading and apply what you read. Follow syllabus instructions, read what's assigned, you'll do well. Make sure you cite stuff from the readings and at least sound like you read it. At least average effort to get A or B.

This class was not too tough but there was a lot of writing. There was two discussions (1 a journal) per week of 250-300 words each, 4 responses of 50 words each also every week, and a 1500 word final paper (which is graded very tough). Otherwise it was a very interesting class with great knowledge to be attained.

I have had this class years ago and loved it. However, this has been the most frustrating, irritating, difficult class and it should never have been. Her opinions are what matter and if you are not on board, better expect to be grade dropped. Even with citing articles to back yourself up. Suggest drop and go for a different instructor.

Ms. Edwards is by far the worst teacher I've taken! She is rude in her comments, and my class, Philosophy of Ethics, it's all about our opinions, yet she finds a way to make you feel dumb, and tell you you're wrong. DO NOT TAKE HER! YOU WILL REGRET IT. She Told me that she is puzzled by my work. I'm a Presidents list student. I have a 77%

Prof. Edwards is a good teacher, grades fairly, and returned assignments within 6 days of turning them in. Would take another class with her if given the option.

Very Quick to grade work, Forums are worth 50% of grade and if you just complete the Forums on time you get 100% for that section.

Dr. Edwards teaches Logic, which is not an easy proposition. The homework is difficult! But, that is a reflection on the subject, and Dr. E does an awesome job explaining the difficult concepts. Feedback twice a week like clockwork. A very Good Professor.

This professor is very rude and the assignments for an entry level class are rediculous. The midterm and final both consists of 6 essays, 1000 words each. Many of the essays are to be written on Philosophy essays that are one and half pages long. Class is very confusing as well.

Little to no discussion board usage in this Logic class (standard intro was the only mandatory assignment). Over-reliant on the "Critical Thinking" software which provides no feedback, but the prof will help if asked. Professor provided vague feedback on essays but was not as unhelpful as others have made her out to be.

Easy A as long as you do the work. Professor responded to e-mail, graded promptly, and asked interesting questions. I spent a lot of time in thinking and writing out various philosophical theories in only 8 weeks. (Time consuming). Second time taking her and would again. Great professor. Much better than the first PH101 I took.

This teacher is horribly slow at grading papers. She almost never provides feedback on graded papers. It was an easy "A" though. There were only 5 papers due for the entire class. The textbook is a mind numbing read, so be prepared to take frequent breaks when using it.

Professor is very unsupportive. Takes forever to grade assignments; even though there were only 4 for the entire 8-weeks. I finished the course before I was given a grade for the first assignment. I would not recommend this teacher for HM277.

Worthless course, but easy. I got an A with little effort. The "teacher" barely interacts w/ class. SLOW GRADER! Sometimes took 3 weeks. I'm not sure she even read the papers she graded.

By far, the worst professor I've had thus far in college. It seems as though she doesn't worry about grading papers in a timely fashion. It has been three weeks and I still haven't received a grade on an assignment. This class is called Intro to Ethics, but it is Philosophy, plain and simple. Don't waste your time.

Reading and writing intensive class, but nonetheless a comprehensive and complete look into the world of ethics. Her use of ancient writers, going chronologically to modern times showed me how the times dictated thought, and those who thought ahead were "ridiculed"...and she was easy on the eyes from her pic...
