Comment:

Anne is such a sweet, caring professor. I went to almost every lecture since attendance counts, but I never really listened. I bought all the required books but never read a single passage and will pass the class with a B+. 3 papers, 1 midterm, 1 final. Not hard even if you don't pay attention in class.

Comment:

Her tests are EXTREMELY specific and random. You will read hundreds of pages and have 15 lectures, but the test will be 25 questions on the most random aspects. You will not be properly prepared & it's basically a guessing game when it comes to what to study. She's a great lady and teaches a really fun class, but the grades are what matter here.

Comment:

This was my first semester in college and I have done very well in every class besides this one, I am an extremely good student. I am unsure of whether or not I will pass this class and I have never failed a class before. This is by far the hardest class I've ever taken and the Professor offers no resources to help. I would never recommend her.

Comment:

This is a history course so if you don't like history don't take it. I've heard other students (with different professors) really enjoy this class but I actually found it really challenging. I thought it was going to be an easy A but it has been my hardest class of the semester. Attendance is mandatory! 4 exams and she drops the worst one.

Comment:

Feldhaus is cool, but the class is semi-difficult. There's a lot of information within one semester. You have to read 20+ pages twice a week and write a discussion post for them. The tests only have 25 questions, but you really need to know your material. Again, the teacher is cool and she wants to help you succeed. But you need to work hard.

Students can tell how much she loves and knows what she is teaching, but because she loves so much about it, too often we got lost. Her powerpoint was really confusing. She does not offer extra credit at all. But she is nice professor.

Comment:

She definitely knows her stuff and is exciting about teaching! However, the TA and her do not coordinate, so the tests don't match the lectures. Her tests are extremely specific and almost impossible to pass. Even after studying hours, the best I'll do is a low 60%. She also says the class average for the tests are around 65%. It's a dense course.

Comment:

Professor Feldhaus is AWESOME! She is extremely knowledgable and passionate about Hinduism. This ended up being my favorite class. There is a lot of reading and work load is moderate but she is more than willing to help you out. Attendance is important but you'll want to go! She is an amazing professor, I wish I could take more classes from her.

Very interesting class and professor. She teaches in a way that invites discussion, and the only homework was a short reading each class and an essay each month. She'll even give you tips on your essay before you submit it. Her lecture powerpoints weren't posted online though, so take good notes.

shes very passionate about her class, stares at you with intense eyes. definitely knows her stuff. write 3 papers 3-4 pgs, 1 midterm, 1 final. not a hard class but def not a class where you can fool around.

Feldhaus is one of the greatest professors I have, or think I will ever have. She was always there to give guidance. Her classes are amazingly informative. I wish all professors were half as good as her!

i took 2 of her classes. i esp. enjoyed hinduism. she knows what she's talking about. fascinating topics, and she picks interesting readings. i also enjoyed writing the papers.
