Moon is a sassy mother hecker. He is a chill guy, but his actual teaching is the worst. He doesn't answer questions and his lecture notes are the least helpful notes I have ever seen. He doesn't explain any concepts fully and he only does examples during lectures where he skips over steps. He curves hella hard though.

Pro. Moon is a great teacher. My friends and I like his teaching style. I can easily follow in class, it's not because the knowledge is easy, but because he taught that very clear, and willing to help students and inspire students.

Dr. Moon is a really nice guy. He really connects with his students, an attribute I'm think only comes with many years of teaching. His lectures and office hours are filled with real life electronic design material. Overall Dr. Moon is a great teacher who cares about every student. Definitely deserves a raise!

He's a funny guy and approachable, and this is good. If you didn't understand 322 all the way, ( I did not), expect to not understand 323 at all. He uses shorthand formulas without really touching on how he got to where he was. Lectures are rapid and his notes he posts are a mess, so they're difficult to read if you miss lecture. Fun guy though.

Terrible lecturer. He breezes through his lecture slides expecting you to have the same amount of knowledge he has had over the material. But if you spend the time and ask the very helpful TAs to learn the material, you'll be fine. His tests are very fair and loves repeating questions from past exams.

Good class. We learned shortcuts to find small signal gain. It was completely different than ece 322. He expects us to know our 322 small signal material very well. If not then there's gonna be struggling through this class. But go to TA's office hours as they are more helpful than Moon himself. Moon will make you answer your own questions.

Moon is a good teacher, he made sense out of something that could have been made painful by other teachers. He has a good sense of humor and will joke around with the class. He doesn't give you a free pass, but he presents the material in a way that makes it easy if you are willing to put in the effort to understand it. Would recommend

Moon is an interesting professor. His lectures are all over the place, but you can learn from it if you pay attention. The homework load is a bit much and the 423/523 tests are identical though he does curve the class substantially.

I am not sure what I learned in this class, the entire contents seemed to be comprised of looking at a bunch of mosfets (or BJTs if he was feeling mean) and writing out a bunch of equations. For 10 weeks. The lab has no relation to lecture and easily consumes more time than is allocated for it.

This is his first term teaching ENGR 203 (or a lower-division class). I'm not sure what is like to be in his pro-school courses, but in this course he is a great prof. His lectures are understandable and he is willing to help students. Do the hw and study a lot before the quizzes and the exams, and you'll be fine.

Dr. Moon was very impolite with huge ego. Honestly, I did not learn much from his class. Office hours after class were non-exist as 90% of the time Dr Moon is there only to insult students. BTW, the dept is very racial biased lady, and they do not give scholarships to foreign students even if you get 4.0/4.0 GPA. Avoid it like hell !
