I am tired of hearing these posts of how she is difficult and how bad she is. This is not her problem but warning she might have dementia and only way I know is she goes to a local sports bar and does not know what she is talking about half the time. One of the past Presidents of UNF. Knows a fair amount about the subject matter and shares a lot of personal stories. Class lectures don't prepare you for the test. Read the book and glance over the outlines she provides and you should do well in the class.

Awful teacher.I attended every class and dont remember learning anything that was on the tests.Must have previous knowledge and read the book bc she will not teach you anything.I learned she used to read the newspaper with her brother and get quizzed by her dad,shes been at Miami U and Tenn.She knows Joe Biden and other useless info.Pick a dif prof

I have to agree with the previous posts. I made the mistake of taking her before reading RMP. If you want an education based on fact and not the prof. opinion, this is not the class for you. If you want a fair grade and lectures to relate to exams, this, again, is not the class for you. Save yourself some frustration, take someone else.

Not a good professor at all. My GPa suffered because of this class. she gives out notes that have nothing to do with her tests, she never teaches and just talks about her political views. Stay away from her!!!

Horrible Professor.I regret taking this class,and it screwed up my gpa because I didn't pass. Doesn't teach at all, just conversates,which doesn't help. Lecture has nothing to do with the notes and notes have nothing to do with tests. She's just old and doesn't know what she's talking about. Stay very far away from this professor! take Prof.wheeler

I took this class in 2006 and I still remember how horrible she was. She gives you a chance to review the test but if she makes a mistake she won't admit it. This class was very hard and she was extremely unhelpful. The lectures had nothing to do with the class and were more her personal opinion than anything.

I really hate this class. I really like political science, but her lectures have nothing ot do with the class. She expects you to just read the book and get it. The only reason i got a B- was because i had good high school teachers def. not a good class. Only thing good about her is that she curves the tests.

If you enjoy politics you will love this class! The discussion is almost all routed in current events which makes it fantastic for political junkies like myself. The tests are not hard, but you do need to read the chapters a couple of times to do well. I got an A without having to go nuts and had a great time!

Ok how do i begin. Yes she is boring but you have to know how to study for her class. when she emails you the outline for the chapter PRINT IT! Take it to class, follow along with that and highlight what she is talking about in the book. Then use that to study. her test are not only multible choice.
