Our final is currently next week, but he has assigned a 35-page quiz, despite the 8-page quizzes normally taking a few hours. I recommend avoiding this professor as his lectures are monotonous. Every single class, he forgets to record the lecture on zoom until we remind him. I literally mean every single class. Please don't take it.

AVOID AVOID AVOID!!! He is a nice guy but unfortunately he does not know how to teach. You will be self teaching yourself and its not easy at all. This class made me stay up late self teaching myself and gave me several breakdowns, and i still could not understand the material. If you care about your grade and mental well being avoid him

Don't bother taking physics here. He talks way too much. Hard, multi-part quiz & hw due every week. Makes u pick up old quizzes b4 class. 2 midterms. Hard to know what your grade is. However, the class is easy to finesse. Don't come 2 class & self-study. Doesn't curve (so far I know no one in S'20 got an A)--a 5 unit class will decimate your GPA.

Guarantee you will fail the class unless you know your physics. My class averages: exam 1 (34%) exam 2(45%) final (60%). Professor doesn't curve, even during the quarantine situation, the professor would not favor students. Lectures are too fast and hard to understand. PHYS2200 has been the hardest to take learning from this professor.

lectures are very confusing even if you read the textbook beforehand. you learn more in lab than his lecture, he says if you pass the final you'll pass the class but the final is all free response and very difficult. his grading is very weird and you will not have an idea of what your grade is until the very end if you ask him.

Dr. K went above and beyond in the course material and not in a good way. Most lectures were extremely draining and nonsensical. He expects work on every minor thing and heavily deducts points on the final and quizzes. He assigns around 10-20 problems of HW per week on top of a 3-7 page take-home quiz.

NOTE: All the quizzes combined are your midterm! Hes an awesome Physics professor, if I actually like the subject I feel like Id enjoy the class a lot more. His lectures are very interactive and he really cares if you understand the material. For the final, study everything he goes over the day before the final, and all the past quizzes!

Had him for lecture and it was terrible. He is a nice guy and all but I could not learn much from this prof. (Side note if you haven't taken Phys: Physics is pretty hard in general) During lecture, he would mostly go over the book diagrams and would try to teach concepts from there. I had a pretty miserable time in this class/the lab/activity.

I had him for the Physics lab. He doesn't make us do regular lab reports, which is nice. All he asks is to make charts and solve the problems in your notebook along with data. He does have a tendency to make you feel stupid if you're doing something incorrectly during class. He is strict on attendance, so don't be late.

Do not recommend if this is your first physics course or aren't the best in physics. He's a very smart, enthusiastic man but does not know how to teach the material. People stopped showing up bc they'd rather study on their own. Messy study guides that were handwritten and photocopied for the final.

This professor's lectures are very thorough. He expects his students to read and review the material to keep up with his lectures since he goes over proofs. This is a challenging class for majors who just want a passing grade. Science majors, especially physics, will enjoy the challenge. He is very enthusiastic. Very helpful during office hours.

Professor K is an extremely intelligent man, the problem is that he can't relate what he knows. He has a problem staying on topic and following a clear train of thought. He gives one example and moves to the next chapter with little to no explanation. For the final, he didn't cover the last 5 chapters but he still put them on the test! DO NOT TAKE

This guy is full of energy. Is he all over the place? Yes! But if you don't understand something and say so, this guy will take a left turn and go down the rabbit hole and try his best to get the point across. Do the work; don't coast; come prepared and you will be rewarded. Faculty who try this hard in teaching are a reward to find.

He jumps around all over each lecture and forgets what he is talking about. I had to teach myself all quarter and it seems like that was the same for the rest of my classmates. Just sad that we have to pay so much money for a class we had to teach ourselves.

If you love physics you would understand him. On the other hand, if physics is not your thing don't take him. His lectures are confusing and fast paced but his energy is very fun and positive. He does give extra credit and if it wasn't for a curve i would have failed his class.

I took him as my lab instructor and he did not help me nor the whole class with understanding the labs that we had to do. We will ask him any question about the lab and he replies back very rudely and makes you feel dumb. He expects you to know the material very quickly. I would not recommend him as an lab instructor.

Lectures are pretty confusing; he's pretty much all over the place and skips around a lot, so reading the book by yourself is a good idea. However, he makes himself available almost anytime when students need help. Tests aren't too bad, he gives out a study guide (even though it's copiedpasted from internet) and the test is pretty similar to guide

He is a really smart guy but extremely confusing. Going to his office hours aren't quite helpful because he literally still confuses you and gets irritated quite a bit when students don't understand something. You won't learn anything in lecture unless you really teach yourself. Buy and read the book once you get it.
