Horribly rude professor, who talks down to all her students. Her exams are difficult and you can go over them with her but she is NEVER WRONG in her book. Also quiz every class in the first 10 minutes.

Comment:

Professor Kant gives a lot of readings, and you have to make sure you digest what you've read, because they will be included on the weekly quiz. The weekly quiz was annoying, it felt more like a test if you ask me. This course felt like a upper level grad course and took a lot of time out of me being able to study for other classes.

If you want an A you literally would need to devote your life to this class . It's crazy. Quizzes every week (and no hints as to what's on them, none at all) and she doesn't help during office hours "I don't spoon feed" - her famous quote. I did learn a lot I can't lie, but this class will take a toll on your life. Got a B, studying CONSTANTLY!

Prof Kant is the absolute BEST teacher I have had in QC! Oh she makes you work hard-but I have never learnt so much in my life. she insures that students know the information and that it is relevant to them. She will go over a topic 100 times if students need her to and she never looses patients. most importantly test are fair. HIGHLY RECOMENDED!

Professor Kant is AMAZING! She's the best professor ever. She's so smart. Her office is always open for questions. She's so helpful, and encourages students to review work. She's a brilliant woman, and I learned so much from her. I worked very hard in this class, but it was so rewarding because I did so well. I know so much now and remember it all.

The teacher is horrible I would not recommend her at all!!! If you want a good grade you wont get one in her class.. She gives quizes everyweek and expects you to now everything. This is one class you cant slack off with or take with many other classes. Good Luck to those that have to take her.

Dr. Kant is a great lady. She's incredibly smart and interesting. It is a privilege to be her student. Definitely not a class for slackers. Lots of reading. Tests every class.She's a fair grader- she answers all of my questions. She's very appraochable and available. Overall not a difficult class, but a lot of reading.

A real nice lady -she wrote most things on the board; tests are difficult multiple choice. Take advantage of her office hours - she's really sweet, and wants to make sure you understand the material. Take advantage of review sessions - come with questions! I'm not a science person, but she simplified everything. She refered the the txtbk alot.

the worst proffessor in the whole world. I would not recommend you to take this proffesor at all. If you end up taking her class that will be your worst nightmare. So, please don't even think about entering to the NO ZONE entry. She even make you memorize the basis of RDA, that is not needed for real world at all. She is the meanist lady on earth.

The most bitter woman on earth. Would not tell me what my last day of attendance was for that semester(even though attendence for the 1st 5 weeks is mandatory). She Lost the roster and expected me to just deal with it.Refused to help me until i complained to the fnes chairperson.NOT A PLEASANT WOMAN

HARD grader. teaches her stuff through the syllabus. wants you to read the textbook pages (only 9 chapters for the semester). makes you think about nutrition itself. Her tests are very tricky but it is multiple choice only. I learned a lot through this class but also through other outside material
