I am not a fan of hers. I was part of a research program in which I had to take her, but I would recommend just taking the GRE without her advice. I should have been focusing on another class this summer but I was stuck taking this class. I made A's in all my English classes, and she tells me that I cannot write. At the end, it was a waste of time.

funny. talks alot about off topic things. does give good recources to help with papers. grading is not fair. makes the class to hard for an intro eng class. would not recommend her for 102. it was almost impossible to get an A on a paper. corrected what she told me to and it was still wrong. not worth the frustration

teacher grades by the scale c=average b=above average a=exceptional. I worked very hard in her class and made a "B" she would look at my draft and tell me if I fixed this this and this it would be perfect.......fixed all of those things and got a "B" I dont see how people make "A"s in her class

Like her alot. I'm an english major and received an A for the course. Very funny lady who is interesting and, though biased and outspoken, is usually willing to listen to dissenting opinions when they are phrased in an intelligent manner. I would reccommend this class to any intelligent individual, especially if you like to argue.

I did NOT like this teacher. You choose your own topics for papers and write small essays on readings -no big deal. Criticizes southern people. Bad attitude. Bad grading. Like mentioned before, highest graded paper was a C and she thought that was great. I would say hard to get an A in here. =(

I loved her class. She challenges you to squeeze the topic for what it's worth. She really teaches you to write better,structurized and order your thoughts so that everyone can understand. Take her, and suck up the pain. No pain no gain. you will look back on the inversion of time and money with satisfaction when you get A's on all your reports.

Mrs. Bey is a teacher who will challenge her students to think fully and reasonably. She Doesn't stick to the syllabus, but she is very helpful. Make eye contact and laugh at her jokes and work diligently to make a good grade. An "A" is extremely attainable.

she doesn't go along witht the syllabus she's very very unclear and grades like a child with a brand new marker putting red everywhere and the highest grade in her class on the first paper was a 77 that she said was an outstanding paper...woman is crazy
