Comment:

One of the nicest professors on campus. His lectures are interesting, if a little low energy. He isn't strict about attendance or the use of electronic devices in class. Lots of opportunities for extra credit. If you don't understand something, he will do everything he can to help you.

He is SO boring. And I never understood anything he was talking about in class. I basically had to teach myself and ended up getting an A because I made the class my top priority, and studied HARD outside of class. Tests were exactly like the practice problems outlined in study guide, so DO IT.

He understands that accounting isn't exciting to most people,so he tries to make it as painless as possible. His handouts are very helpful come test time,and there is always the make up exam to replace the lowest grade.

he is a really cool guy and nice rofessor If you are interested in accounting you have to do is do the homework that is assigned and read the chapters and the test come and go. he helps you out whenever u need help. you can not make the relationship as a student or teacher. he gives the make up exam and extra credit worksheets.test are on blackboar

Gaffey is a really cool guy and sometimes he just rambles on in class that really don't pertain to subject. If you are interested in accounting all you have to do is do the homework that is assigned and read the chapters and the test come and go. I do recommend him to others, but don't expect to much of a student-teacher relationship

I hate accounting, but this guy was pretty easy. He gives you everything you need to get a decent grade. He is fair but the tests get a little harder each time. If you try you should do okay.

He's a nice guy, but a poor teacher. He teaches directly from the course overheads and it's a challenge staying awake. He took what seemed to be forever to hand out the instructions for our writing project and then took two weeks to grade them. We got our grade when we showed up for our final.

well he can use some help in explaining the problems to the students, his usages of company's fin. reports can throw you off and lose you, so you have to stay on top of the material. he does give extra credit on test, n gives u the question to mulit choose, but it still does u no good if u can understand his teaching, i learned more from his sub.

I took accounting. I like this teacher. He made boring class very interesting and funny. Of cause, you have to study harder because he likes to talk. :) But he helps you to feel connection with real world.

I would have to agree with you on that one! Mr.Gaffey moves very fast and talks to everyone like they should already know everything he is talking about. Very nice guy...just goes way too fast!

Professor Gaffey is really nice. But unfortuantely his teaching ability is poor. Boring and slow its hard to stay awake in his class. Nice guy bad teacher.
