Dr. Manaris is an amazing professor. His lectures are extremely entertaining and interesting. I learned so much in his class, and I had a lot of fun while doing it. Assignments can be tricky, but if you work at it, you'll get it. Dr. Manaris is always willing to help you and give feedback. I definitely recommend that anybody take him.

It's easy to get a good grade in the class. Listen, take notes, read the supplemental texts. There will be a lot of project based work that he'll grade pretty hard, but he is an expert in the field of UI/UX and HCI, so it's expected. Easily could be a professor at a top research institution- appreciate his knowledge in the field.

This dude blows. Don't take him unless you have to. He makes you take pictures of the notes with your phone. Like take a picture of the board. Fo reel??? I takes himself wayyyyy too seriously. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Not an easy class but loved it none the less. Manaris is a wonderful teacher, passionate about what he does. You will take many lessons from this class... from big ideas to little ones, the class and professor are top notch, but be prepared to work hard, and spen a lot of time outside of class working to get the most out of this class.

Manaris is a very animated and enthusiastic professor, and he approaches the class with a "what do you want to learn today?" attitude. He can get offtrack and intents for the lecture are unclear at times, but the assignments and work are fun( he allows a lot of personal creativity in assignments). Recommended if you have in interest in the class.

Great class. Learned a lot. Coded in Python. The AI behind the programs was incredibly interesting. Very fascinating class, great professor. Really got me into Artificial Intelligence.

Always had fun in his class, he makes plenty of jokes. His assignments weren't easy but also weren't impossible. Really enjoyed this class - if he taught PROG221 I would have tried to take his class next semester.

Not as straightforward as I would have liked. A musician, he thinks creatively and is an interesting, entertaining guy. However, as a novice programmer, I needed more direct, both feet on the ground, instruction.

Good teacher. Keeps class fun. Prefers to teach by asking you questions about your questions. Would be a 'great' professor if he offered just a little bit of help to tough problems when you go to him for assistance. Still worth taking....
