It's a class where you can get an A by doing your homework. The homework is not difficult but it really takes a long time to complete. I basically need to spend five to six hours per module. The advantage of this course is that the test questions are basically the same as the module. you do not need to review before the test.

Lectures were very mundane and dull so watching the recordings sped up is definitely a recommendation (hence the 4/5). He cares about his students lots and will gladly answer questions during lectures and office hours. The modules are honestly very easy to get 100 on, you get unlimited tries. The midterm and final are exactly like the modules.

Prof. Bruce is very understanding & kind. Lectures aren't great but modules were enough to learn the content. They can get time-consuming & the software is frustrating but can be repeated an unlimited # of times, so it's a great mark booster. Midterms were very similar to the modules (online tests) and cheat sheets were allowed which helped a lot:)

I cried doing the modules & when I found out I have to take him again for PSY202. Avoid taking a class by him, it's not worth it. He doesn't explain things well. There are unlimited attempts at the modules, but you can't save your work so you have to do it all in one sitting. After doing a module for 7 hours, you don't feel like doing it again.

Professor did a great job during this pandemic. He was very open to answering questions and explained them clearly. The modules really help with practicing for the quizzes. You can do them an unlimited amount of times, and he will take the highest mark. The quizzes were very fair. If you attend lectures and take notes, you will pass.

The 2.6 rating is entirely due to students who performed poorly in his class. Here's how you avoid that: 1. Get 100% on every single homework module (you get unlimited tries). 2. Write as much as possible on the tests! I.e. forgetting the term "Central Limit Theorem" is -2 marks. 3. Attend as many office hours (both prof's and TA's) as you can.

What a horrible experience. Cancelled all office hours for the semester, doesn't respond to emails. TAs had no idea what they were doing and couldn't answer questions. Needs to retire ASAP. Class avg was 50. Self-taught the course. Lectures and tutorials are pointless, repeat modules and learn from that ONLY and save your time. Avoid at all costs.

Read the previous reviews & avoid this class if you can. The lectures are overly complicated when the material is not that difficult. The professor reads off slides that contain long paragraphs. The TA's have no idea what they are doing. Prof posts practice questions for tests which have many errors within them. Software needed has many errors too

Lectures were too confusing by teaching concepts in a way that doesn't make any sense. The only thing that I would say is going to tutorial is all that matters because they put more effort and do a better teaching then the actual PROF.

The prof makes the material so much harder than it actually is and the book that is required is WAY too expensive. DONT TAKE THIS IF YOU DONT NEED TO!

Prof Schneider is the nicest psych prof ever. He loves when you ask questions so to office hours. Read the book! A lot of people don't but it MAKES A DIFFERENCE. I ended up with a 97! Also, be as detailed as possible when writing the tests. If you don't say "parametric", you lose -0.5 marks.

This was not a very difficult course, despite material coming across as complicated when initially presented. Prof Schneider conveyed all material effectively, also showing how content could be applied to real research. Make sure to attend at least the lectures or tutorials, and you'll be fine. Modules were long but helpful in the long run!

This class was very difficult in the beginning because I honestly didnt study but once you read the book and the lectures, it honestly becomes so simple and easy to understand. There are alot of assignments though but they are not hard and prepare you very well for the tests. DO THE PAST PAPERS and the assignments and its an easy A. Final was easy.

Bruce's test are actually so easy. TIP: Be as detailed as possible because all the marks are accounted for. Yes he can't really teach but honestly the material is really easy if you read the book and practice the modules. Also TA Mariela was good - she prepared you for the hard questions. Max was also good. He really gives you the foundations :)

I had to take for my major since it's mandatory but avoid him if possible. Poor presentation skills and very hard to understand his lectures (he makes it sound more complex than it actually is, hard to follow along and reads off slides). I had to rely solely on one TA during tutorials to understand. The modules takes hours to finish.

because of my major I had to take this course. Overall I would never repeat this course again. the Mods take up so much of your Time and energy. This course needs to be updated and redesigned. Having students be frustrated where they feel confused and frustrated is not how a course should be ran. The only reason I passed was because of my tutorials

The topics taught in class are simple if explained correctly. The resource for the course is the worst that I have ever seen in this university. Software required for purchase is hard to use and very confusing for no reason. Try to take the course in downtown campus which is way better and also AVOID TA MARIELA!! She has a huge ego and doesnt help

He gives the worst homework modules ever. You work on them for hours every week. The program he asked you to buy is ridiculous.
