Comment:

Bruce is a great guy. His lab, while hard, is as enjoyable as possible. He has rewritten the whole lab manual to be clear and concise. Also he makes some of the lecture part of lab interesting and not boring. He also cares a whole lot about the students. You will learn more from him than any other professor in the dept.

I haven't had him yet, but he comes into my lab every week to help out. Easily the most personable guy in the department and he has a joke for everything. He is not afraid to speak his mind and will tell you exactly what you need to do for any lab or report. Take a class with him and you'll love it!

Best lab professor. Doesn't require lab reports. He gives you a worksheet, you do the lab and fill it out, hand it in, and that's it. Usually out of there in an hour or less. Take lab with Zellar !

He is the best lab professor I have had thus far. He doesn't require too many lab reports. You just give him the results at the end and he grades them. Easy A+ if you go everyday and will give makeups without question!

Zellar rocks!!! If you are overly sensitive and can't take a joke then don't bother with him though. Don't screw sround, keep an open mind, and finish the labs while still in class (the actual experiments take about half an hour) and you will be fine, because I did have a little trouble getting ahold of him outside of class. Great guy though. Hair.

Don't believe the negative hype. This guy is a great- he has a dry, sarcastic sense of humor, but really knows what he's talking about and cares alot about both the science and the students- his Cartman impression is spot-on as well...

I love this guy! I wish he could teach all my classes. He's funny and very intelligent. If you get his jokes he'll keep you in stitches. His door is always open and he's happy to help anyone who asks. I rate him an A++

This professor is the best! He's very smart and helpful. He'll get irritated with you if you screw around though. The labs are not difficult and he doesn't grade them hard. His sense of humor takes a little getting used to if you're a sensitive and can't take a joke, but I thought he was hilarious! I looked forward to lab every week!

if you' dont know the guy he seems to be stuck up and makes you feel like an ass.. get to know the guy and you will find out that hes awesome. he loves south park. the best and my fav teacher outta the physics department. the guys is just awesome. he will help you if you ask. he cant help unless you want to be helped. he helps me out all the time

This man - though he knows what he is talking about - is arrogant and would rather do it for you than actually try to help you. I admire his intelligence but NOT his attitude. He also gives insanely hard labs. If you don't like writing 10 page lab reports every week don't take it with him.

The best lab teacher I've had. He does pick favorites but luckily my group is one of those favorites. Be nice to him and he'll be nice to you. Quizzes are really easy. Grades easily on lab reports.

He is very egotistical but a smart guy. He does things a lot differently then other teachers but the skills he teaches will come in handy if you are going to take any upper level chemistry or physics class. If you go to him for help he will usually help
