He is a really nice guy! He's funny and has a good hold on making history interesting. This is from someone who hates history! Just pay attention and do the reading. There are easy online quizzes and just a few papers. He's really reasonable and will make exceptions if you need them!

Comment:

I took his US History class and African American class, both were great classes. You learn if you want to learn, there is help if you need it, and his classes are easy to sit through. His assignments are clear and if you put a moderate amount of effort into the class you'll probably walk away with a B.

Fun and interesting prof. He knows his stuff and is very clear in conveying it to you. Out of class work is interesting - two or three book discussions. Definitely recommended.

The summer class was 5 weeks long, but all of the heavy duty work is during the first 4 weeks. We had to read an entire text book, 2 400+ page books and 8 more readings each week. The content was extremely interesting, but the workload felt like overload and no feedback was provided as of the last week of class. Final is long + 4 lengthy papers rqd

Wicked cool guy - and has def. stepped it up! Who ever thinks hes just an easy teacher hasnt had him lately but hes still a great teacher. weekly quizzes that are straight from the book, take home final and midterm. hes a great teacher and youll actually learn something in his classes!

Prof Cover gets it. He's hip and pop culture refs don't go over his head. He loves what he teaches and it makes the class that more interesting because of it. Work load is low but you still come away with new knowledge. I wish he taught more classes. If you take him, give him crap for being a Ohio sports fan.

Weekly multiple choice (5 questions) quizzes that are based on the reading. Can be tough but they arent worth a lot of your grade. Two book discussions, a take home final and take home midterm and thats it. Talk a lot and make friends with him and you'll get an A. Awesome guy - take him if you can!!

wicked easy. no tests. no final. a group essay and 1 study guide per week. he grades 5 study guides per week and everyone else gets full credit just for doing it. lectures are kinda boring but hes a cool guy. he cancels class alot too. attendance is mandatory but he gives you a bunch of free skips. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

He is a really nice guy. He does not give any tests, quizes, midterms, or finals! But participation and attendance are both 30% of your grade, so u have to be there every day. All he assined was 2 book reviews and a final paper. You dont even have to do the readings because you dont get quized on them! its a pretty easy class!
