very understanding prof. didn't really do much from the book, and class sessions are usually discussions that wander away from subject matter. grade is based on 3 lesson plans you do with class, journals, open book midterm, and 1 paper. i really loved her, and the class was an easy A

i wish she taught every edu class!!! soo nice and genorous with the deadlines for papers.. not many though, lesson plans, activies...open book midterm -multiple choice..t/f..and your opinion about the grade you deserve and your philisopy of education...and NO FINAL..she hates tests!!

She is a great teacher and a wonderfull woman.The way she talks and she teaches is a great example for teachers to be like us.She engages the class in activities which makes the class interesting.A lot of writing, but she makes it easy. Definitely take her.

Very enjoyable experiance. She keeps you working. But, in a way that you actually want to do it. She is an easy grader if you do all the required work. Very helpful out of class. Also, she shows you a whole new side of teaching Social Studies to children.
