Dan is an excellent professor who lays the instructions out so that you clearly understand. He himself is funny. If you are having a problem with a project, if you email him he will give you guidance. I wish I had him for all my computer classes. He is also very fair.

Can be very confusing in explaining forensics data. More times then not when challenged with questions he did not know answers to or did not know several ways to work the program/tools he is using. Although we are being graded for knowledge he has many misspelled words and/or instructions for project can be confusing or not explained well.

Dan is the best instructor I have worked with at CLC; I've completed some 50+ hours worth of courses at CLC so I've worked with many. His lab/lecture balance is the model for his department. I dropped the course due to inapplicability to network engineering, despite it being part of a CLC networking program (a curious problem)

Prof. Dainton is excellent instructor. I will reccomend him to anyone I know. I took an online class with him- very interesting!! He had the lecture for each chapter posted ahead of time, as well as quizes and projects. There is a great opportunity for you to get a nice grade if you are working according to the sullabys. Good luck!

Very capable and erudite teacher, has more patience than anyone I've ever seen. I've used computers for years and still had an easy and fun summer session brushing up on MS-Office applications with Dan. Recommended.

Great teacher that really prepares you for tests and by the end of the class you will have learned a lot. Gives outlines for notes that a very helpful and has a lot of extra credit opportunities.
