Tony was a true mentor to me. His guidance and encouragement instilled in me a true love for ceramics. Whenever I work in a new studio, folks often ask me where did I learn how to split a lip like that? He will always be one of my favorite teachers.

I understand he's very into ceramics and takes it seriously as an "art form". But he was just rude. Unhelpful. The worst teacher I've ever had. If he's such a great artist I wonder why he's teaching beginner ceramics at a community college. I always wanted to learn pottery so I took his class for fun. It wasn't.

Very into what he does, his passion for art just shines through. When you're actually serious about learning and not just taking it as an easy A, it is extremely worth it and really fulfilling.

He can be pretty moody. Takes ceramics very seriously and doesn't appreciate anyone who doesn't. Offers a lot of lab time outside of class, which most schools don't offer. He puts in a lot of time, maybe not with his students though cuz he is not very approachable.

Not very big on creativity. You will notice that if you try to go outside the box you are looked down upon. Picks his favorites.
