He pulled up stats canada pretty much every second class and would tell us about in for about 20 minutes. zzz.Everyone stopped showing up for class since it's pretty heavy theory and you cant understand what he is saying half the time. Read the book for sure and do exercises.

This professor isn't very good. He skipped so many lectures, I gave up attending classes. He tries to come off funny but it was just a fail. His final exam had nothing to do with the course material, so best of luck to you all!

Comment:

Overall not a great prof. I went from having a 3.3 in his class to then having a 2.0 after the final exam. His final exam did not at ALL reflect what we learned in class and was very difficult. He also skipped around 4 classes with literally NO notice. He is also difficult to understand because of his accent and talks too quickly occasionally.

Hes a pretty sweet teacher, he made the class preety enjoyable but he skipped like 5 classes this semsester, and we're only half way through haha, he didn't really let us know in advance either, he'd send in this lady who i'm pretty sure he had on speed dial. All in all good prof, wears plaid pretty much every day, but i'd recomend em haha

Its a pretty tough class to begin with for first years. I think he did a really good job, the class wasn't too boring. He will listen to you if you want to challenge your marks. He has decent office hours. All in all pretty good, but I really learned a lot from the text.

He's really hard to understand during class...it might be his accent or just his teaching. He doesn't explain it simply enough and his abbreviations are hard to follow when he uses them during class.
