Mr. Davis is a really good option for anyone taking Bio 111. I found that if you read the chapter or a few sections that you know he will cover in class, you are probably better off, b/c you know what to expect, even if you don't fully understand. Labs are really interesting! Most Bio classes only have a few exams for grades, so really study!!!

awesome teacher. I hated bio 101 because of the teacher, so i was dreading 102. but i got davis for 102 and i actually enjoyed the material and class time. he's easy going and the material isn't hard so long as you read the book. be prepared for the lab tests though.

Dave Davis is fantastic! He is soo funny and always shares interesting stories. On his test...if you didn't know an answer, you could write a story about anything, like you dog, and he would atleast give you a point!

What a great guy. He's kind of boyish, and his enthusiasm is catching. He knows his subject very well, and his exams can be quite tough if you don't memorize things easily. Overall, an excellent instructor, highly recommended!
