Professor Chivukula is an angel. Always giving good advice and teaching you things that aren't in the book to actually learn the language and be able to speak it. She genuinely cares. Overall, the class isn't tough, especially with her help!

Comment:

Without a doubt, one of the best Spanish teachers I've ever had. She legitimately cares about making you better at Spanish. She's an awesome, lively, and funny person. You will be satisfied after taking this class, and it's not hard at all to get an A, assuming you speak Spanish better than a dog with its mouth taped shut.

By FAR the best Spanish teacher I've ever had. She genuinely cares about her students and advancing their Spanish. Not a lot of homework and she's a rather lenient grader. She puts a lot of emphasis on you learning and if you sincerely try - the class is a piece of cake. TAKE HER, I would if I could for the rest of my life.

Dayci is a fun and lenient teacher. She is sometimes disorganized and late but that was part of the fun having her as the teacher. She required minimal effort and pretty standard requirements that any spanish teacher at this level would have.

Dayci was not helpful at all. Prior to this class I was very interested in Spanish but I feel as though I have learned not much of all. I never knew where I stood grade wise in the class. Dayci also did not follow the syllabus so it was hard to stay on track to follow our progress.

Dayci is amazing. She isn't what you would call a "conventional" teacher but she gives you useful tools that you can apply practically to your exams and in real life. My comfort level in speaking and writing spanish increased notably in her class. She is also a rather lenient grader.

Excellent teacher, she trys to make things as understandable as possible but also wants you to learn the language. She wants you to learn the practical uses of the language not just grammer and nonsense. Also she understands the way our brains operate and doesnt try to bore us, and the activities are fun but useful.

She is definitely the teacher to take for Spanish. At the beginning you may get nervous because you're having so much fun and may not think you're learning everything. Her teaching is very effective and moves you to the next level. She is great for an evening class. She will wake you up. Can be a little disorganized at times.

If you need to take a Spanish class, take her class. You do need to put some effort to it, but her classes are all fun and interesting. You won't get bored in her class, that's for sure. She is very kind and easy to get to know. As long as you show her that you put some effort to her class, she will give you the best grade she can.
