Comment:

Definition of an average college professor. Every day there's a lecture, not the most boring class I've had but not exciting. We had 3 tests 2 homework assignments throughout the semester and 4 extra credit quizzes taken in class each one was work 3-5 points. If you show up to class and do basic studying you'll survive

Well, this is a pretty boring class. It doesn't help that he uses the overhead to do problems... IN PENCIL. There's a giant whiteboard with nice markers.. use it. It's hard to see what he's doing and he does it before class so he just whips right through it. It's hard to understand him because he mumbles a lot and goes on tangents. No study guide.

Comment:

For an online class, Manohar's lectures were very well organized with excellent examples of how to do the homework. The reading can be considered supplementary, although the examples in the textbook help with assignments. His syllabus is well laid out and based off a lot of weekly quizzes. His responses and feedback could improve, but overall good.

Online. Posts really useful videos of sample problems he works through with solutions that are very similar to graded assignments. Timely grading & feedback. Good technical course content that is actually useful in career (as opposed to theories that are inapplicable in the real world.) Recommend.

He is the best professor I have ever met in my entire life. He honestly is a bit easy on us and gives us extra credit (: He's also really funny and gets the students. His daughter is also very cool. His lectures are inspiring, interesting, and funny. Definitely approve of his teaching and absolutely amazing personality. I love bagels!

Generally a forgettable professor, he seems to ramble on and never makes class interactive. You can solely use the book to pass the class except for the inventory model management section.

Nice guy but boring to listen to. Rambles about nothing and reads off powerpoint slides that dont relate to any of the test questions. Tests are like 96% of your grade so good luck with that. You do get a full sheet of paper but it wont help unless you can read his mind. I wouldn't take him but chances are you wont have a choice so good luck!

Only 3 tests that you are graded on and 3 problem sets. Able to use a cheat sheet for each test, which makes them very easy. Only point of going to class is to see how problems are done. Problems are on both the tests and in the problem sets.

Anybody talking bad about this guy obviously is not intelligent enough to comprehend the material as he has always been extremely helpful and willing to do whatever I've asked. He isn't bossy or overly demanding, and is probably one of the nicest and most benficial professors this university has to offer. Take his class and you'll learn a lot.

Prof Madan tought me during my MBA ,few years ago, and he was a great help and inspration to go into Ops and SC Management. Because of him I was able to cultivate my graduate education and a couple interships in a fortun 500 company that lead me to obtain a great job with good pay. He is a good prof. and a good mentor. This was a required course of all management majors and he acted like if you were not in operations management, you were stupid. His tests are hard and he does not explain much in class. He is also very hard to understand. One of the worst professors.
