This professor does not "teach" the class. You need to rely on your textbook and possibly a tutor to teach you how to interpret and understand the material. He is impatient and is unapproachable for help with learning. He is always saying "it's easy". I believe that he is only interested in teaching to the "A" students and no one else.

Comment:

Used the textbook a lot considering the fact you teach yourself EVERYTHING. Doesnt like answering questions and expects students to know everything that is talked about. Besides the fact that he is the most boring teacher ever, i had surgery and was out for two weeks.Did not let me make up any quizzes, i had to drop the class.

At times is a nice old man but over all is a horrible professor. Does not know how to explain anything and gets mad when people don't agree with him/ get the wrong answer. Know all metric conversion factors or be prepared to fail everything.

Great teacher. Do the handouts and go to lecture and lab. Don't be late and you should do fine. Use the quizzes to prepare for the unit tests. The unit tests matter! The final is great, I aced the class, so can you.

Gheri is great! Yes, it is a hard subject. If you are a good student, however, you can earn the grade you want. I personally got a high B, but I could have tried a little harder for the A. He is passionate about Chemistry and does not like idiots, it's true. Go to class, read the book. THE FINAL IS EASY AND HE ALLOWS A CHEAT SHEET, how cool is that

Dr. Gehri is possibly the hardest teacher ive ever had, and im fairly smart. His soul goal in the class is to make as many fail as possible. He thinks its fun. He teaches as if you already know everything. I went every class and eventually stopped going because it was useless because i was failing anyways. I recommend NOT. Definately not.

He is really hard. He is one of those teachers who know it all and expect you to also. He kept on saying "How can you not understand this?! It is so easy!" I would recommend definitely not taking him if you have never taken chemistry before.

THIS TEACHER IS EXTREMELY DIFFICULT . Do not raise your hand unless you are 100% sure of the answer, or else he will bight your head off. Also, there are boatloads of homework and class work to do. THIS CLASS IS NOT FOR THE FAINT OF HEART! Get prepared to go to the learning center and get some tutoring A.S.A.P.

Dr. Gehri is a great teacher. He really wants to see his students succeed, but there is work required. Do the HW problems and do not fall behind as the problems build through the semester, also be on time to class. He can be slightly intimidating, however he really wants to help; he even gives students his home phone#. Definitely recommended

Great teacher, very helpful, learned a lot. Kind of strict but that helps keep you on tract. Don't interrupt him during lecture and save questions for after class and he is very helpful. He will make time for you anytime you need help outside of the class room. You can even call him at home for questions.

DO NOT TAKE THIS COURSE. He is a good guy outside school I'm sure, but he doesn't have any business being a teacher. He's angry and unapproachable. If you have a question, ask him as privately as you can otherwise he will yell and scream and embarrass you in front of the whole class.

This teacher is horrible. He is gross, spits in the trash can during lab. He is not a bad person, he just has no business teaching. Yells, yells, yells. Extremely confusing. Do not take him unless you are a math whizz. He is impatient.
