Comment:

Very interesting class, especially in a male's perspective. A $40 reader is nearly the only book used (I will sell mine for a lot cheaper, EMAIL: ianbnahmias@yahoo.com) - Very friendly and helpful professor who is willing to meet & talk anytime, just ask. The journals are fun to put together as well as the film reviews. Work hard and you're good.

I enjoyed the class towards the end when I realized how much I learned.She expects you to participate in an event that she plans, (this counts towards your grade) write journals (easy A) and 2 essays. Not bad at all and I believe she accepts late work.

I really enjoyed this calss. She made it interesting and fun. She puts herself into the lectures and makes you feel comfortable participating. She really makes it unique and i wish she taught more classes. I really recomend it, the work is not hard, its fun and personal, and she is very understanding.

She is the best professor and best class I've ever had! I wish all teachers were like her. I really miss this class. Everything she taught us opened my mind. You can learn not only about chicanas but also about good life. Take her! She could change your life!

Professor Contreras teaches about gods and goddesses because she is one of them--an extraordinary professor, a provocative intellectual, and a beautiful woman, Contreras is the jewel of the department. Diana did her undergraduate work at San Diego State University and her graduate work in film (she's a director!) at UCLA. A breathtaking diva!

GREAT TEACHER!!!! she was very helpful, dedicated. i never have seen such a caring teacher as her. if i could take her again, i so would. i recommend her. 3 essays, easy final, and 2 readings, but weekly journal readings. but so easy. easy A, especially by just showing up

I loved her class soooooooo much!!! Very helpful and understanding....I really feel like she became more like a friend to me. Her class very much inspired me and I really feel I have changed as a person because of it. I wish I could take her class again and again!!!
