She gives you enough articles to read and research but she is such a tough grader this is psychology and homework responses are most of the times based on perspectives but I feel like it has to be her perspective and that really makes it more difficult please try to see things a little bit and please grading needs to be considerate & better thanks

She is very rude. I could tell she was going to be rude by what she put in the syllabus. She clearly does not care about working with her students. She does not give study guides EXCEPT for the final and even that was just a list of 40 terms on a word document. That was it. 40 terms on a word document. She doesn't give students adequate instruction

Please disregard any comments calling her rude People mistake her straightforwardness for rudeness. If you thoroughly read the syllabus and the assignments then there will never be much confusion. You have to go the extra mile in order to earn an A in this class, but it all pays off once you see the A that YOU earned. Overall, she's a good teacher

She is really tough grader. She takes off a lot of points in DB and project work. If you write a paper and grade yourself A, expect anything to happen which will not make you happy at all. After seeing a lot of fails, she may offer 1 - 3 points extra credit at the end of the course. You have to read the BOOK if you want to well in her assignments.

Shes rude. Period. Im not upset about the work load but shes just always being sarcastic for no reason. Dont take her if you dont have to.

Don't take her online class if you have a full schedule. gives about 2-3 assignments every week and all of them need to be a certain length. She hates answering questions since she thinks she posts everything clearly. VERY HIGH STANDARDS!!! She has a rubric for db posts and even if you think your post is worth an A, it's probably a C or D for her.

Follow every detail and direction point to point. In addition, she does give a lot of work and a lot of information and it can be seen as overwhelming but the best way to handle that is to do each portion day by day. I love psychology, however I do not appreciate the way she handles student responses. She responds with a short and rude response!!

Although passionate about psychology; I did have an issue with her being extremely rude and the way she talks down to students. Not very encouraging and I was disappointed.

Though knowledgeable about the course material, is not too personable online. Questions about course material are forcefully directed to the syllabus. Very "nit-picky" about assignments. Enjoyed the "course material itself" but was not a fan of the structure of the course. Note to Others: FOLLOW EACH DIRECTION TO THE EXACT POINT! :)

Clearly Professor you do not check the accessed links of students because I did ask where something was after having acessed that link before, I just didn't remember, and you condesendingly told me where to find it and that I should be certain to read the whole syllabus before asking. If you really had access you would not have rebuked me.

She is very knowledgeable about psychology but not very helpful. The worklaod is ridiculous and she is not at all flexible. Does not like explaining anything. It seems like she is out of touch with reality.

Second online course with professor. Still very fair although a lot of work. If you ask her a question about where to find something that is on the course site somewhere, she doesn't like that. Other types of questions she is very good at answering. She provides list of topics for test and they are very helpful.

I posted before, but wanted to add that she seems very knowledgeable and provides a lot of resources so the courses are fine. It's her interaction with students that I do not like. Everything is laid out for you and the courses are not difficult, but that is no equal trade off for rudeness. Maybe meeting her in person would paint a better picture.

I have had this professor more than once in online classes only. I found her to be very rude and condescending. It is difficult to confirm this as I have not met her in person; however she has the same characteristics in multiple classes. She is knowledgeable, but condescending. I do not recommend. Interesting that many others feel the same.

Online course to intro psych. Course requires lots of work, but teacher is very fair. As part of the work, she provides links to many sites to take see interesting effects, take assessments, or other interactive kind of assignments. Much more interesting than I expected. I highly recommend this professor.

Dr. Finley seems very interested in teaching Psychology. However, she is really mean and treated most of the online class like we were little kids. very rude when it comes to answering questions so I suggest you try to find the answer yourself before asking her. You may be better off and wont get your feelings hurt.

Dr. Finley is a very fair teacher. She expects you to do your work & is fair in her grading. She is pretty rude when you ask her a question. She seems to forget that she is a teacher, there to teach and students are students, there to learn. She acts as if she expects you to already know and that you are bothering her if you ask her a question.
