If you want to be challenged & assessed by your capability as opposed to your gender, don't take this professor. He regularly pushes people who present as men to do more than their physical fitness would allow them to do, & urges people who present as women to take less weight or do "easier" things even if they are more physically fit than others.

Get through his accent, show up and participate and you've got yourself an A+. Very fun class just participate and have fun, it's dancing. Pretty fair grader and helps when you ask. Technique and form basics are taught if you want that.

Another subjective grading class. Gives all A's because he is not a professor or a teacher. He is a dance instructor and doesn't know anything about teaching which is an insult because most of the students are PE teachers. Department really needs to hire more qualified PROFESSORS or at least someone who knows how to teach.

great Professor! Teaches you elements from ballroom dance. Awesome class. Judges are advanced dancers who took his classes before and not only them. They ARE NOT picking up their friends for the first place. They judge you for your skills and talent.

I liked ballroom dancing. It was refreshing and very different from all my other classes. No reading really involved and the test was real easy from the few notes he gave. Attendance is definitely important. I learned a good deal and he's nice. He even gave me a head massage once when I had the worst headache and I Never had a teacher do that!

I took him for fundamental Ballroom. I had little to none experience in ballroom dancing but more in other aspects of dance, he takes his time and patience to help you learn 7 dances in a matter of 3 months of schooling! Take him!
