She worked really hard to move her class online after COVID. Most profs just abandon the class and all lecture. She actually tried hard to transition and she communicate with us regularly about her efforts and the course of action we were taking.

I will start by saying it may have been that this was a summer semester but wow. This class made it truly embarrassing to be majoring within the department. Between her blanketing some presentations with 100s n nitpicking others, it left a bunch of students wondering what was going on. Nobody felt like there was anything to be learned. Disappointed

Very sweet and blunt. have 5 speeches where if you just do them you are fine. have to interview someone and write about it. have to participate in JA in a day and write about it. cant miss more than 3 classes or you loose a letter grade. midterm final is about presentation 4. just follow the syllabus and you're golden. doesn't use canvas so email.

Fairy straightforward speech class. Do what she asks of you and you should get an A no problem. She really seems to want you to improve and feel more comfortable speaking in front of a group.

As long as you do all of the assignments written in the syllabus, and your speeches are within the time limit (you can go 30 seconds short or 30 seconds long), you will likely get 100%. You are allowed note cards. Very easy class.

Professor Logan is very good. Helps you become comfortable speaking in front of class. Make sure you make the time for the speeches and you'll get 100%. There are 5 speeches, 2 group presentations. Class easy and straightforward. Definitely recommend her!!

This class was the easiest class I've ever taken in my whole student career. It almost felt like a joke coming to class, but it was a nice break from other tough classes. Diann is funny and very likable. She's like the hooty grandma on thanksgiving. Very intellectual and animated. Overall, super easy class. She does take attendance too.

She is so awesome, she doesn't grade hard on presentations which was really nice for me because i'm terrified of public speaking. She is so sweet and is a fair teacher

Professor Logan is the best! The only speech I got less than 100 on was because I was 3 seconds short on time; she takes that seriously so try to be in the ballpark! She is extremely passionate and care about her students succeeding in life as well as her class. 5 speeches, 2 are with a group. Definitely take her!

She such a cute little old lady. The content and lessons are super easy. Most of my speech were completed the night before and i still received A's on them. The only problems i had with her was having to keep track of my own grade and then the week before finals week she randomly told us about a self reflection due. P.S You don't use the book.

Adorable little old woman. She's funny and interesting and her class is hella easy. She wants you to get over your stage fright and gain the confidence to be able to speak in front of an audience for a few minutes without collapsing. If you can do that, you'll get an A. It was sometimes hard to contact her outside of class.

By far one of the best communications dept professor's at UCD. Class was not difficult per se, but everything was CLEARLY outlined in the syllabus. If you didn't follow it, you got a lower grade.Yet some didn't take her too seriously when it came to her DETAILED WRITTEN INSTRUCTIONS. Text was only used seldom; save youir $ and find it free online.
