Theres 7 units where you write 7 papers and 3 essays, but he is an easy grader. As long as you put thought into your writing and quote the readings, youre good. Theres reading for every class but skimming will get you the gist of the reading. The only grades are participation and the papers and essays so youll be fine if you talk and write.

Dr. Brady's class was lecture and discussion-based. You get reading assignments everyday, easy to understand. You are only graded on participation, which you need to speak once every week, in class, or in a discussion post AND mainly papers and essays. You usually write one of the two each week, either one or two pages. Very easy if you read!

Such an amazing class and professor. The textbook reading with the lectures can feel long, but he always finds way to engage the class in different ways. He gives you several opportunities to do well on assignments and is clear on his expectations. Enjoy if you get the chance to take his class.

Brady is a caring guy but only when you agree with him and his agenda. He basically sets your grade depending on the first paper.. he gives the same score for every other one turned in after that. If he likes you, you're in the clear but get ready for heavy political nonsense. The class isn't hard just almost unbearable to sit through

Dr. Brady is the best. He is so caring and passionate about his field. He really cares about his students and wants class participation, but in the best way possible. Class can get a little long and boring some times but I don't mind because he is that nice and friendly. Graded only by papers but is a super easy grader if you put in genuine effort

Dr. Brady is absolutely amazing. One of the most caring, kindest, and understanding professors I have ever met. He cares so much for his students, and goes above and beyond to help whoever needs it. He is so knowledgeable and passionate about what he teaches as well. He is an amazing person and professor, and I am so glad I took him this semester!

Brady is extremely kind and an easy grader. He cares a lot about participation and the readings are interesting. He is pretty woke on a current issues. There is a service project outside of class that is a valuable experience. He is one of the sweetest professors. This class was really thought provoking.

Professor Brady was my favorite Theo prof at the University of St Thomas. (He is the department chair for a reason.) I wrote a lot of short essays for the class but they aren't graded hard- just make a connection between the reading and your life and you'll be good to go. A really sweet and caring professor.

I would highly recommend Professor Brady! He is an amazing professor and an amazing person! The books he assigns are interesting, so they are not boring to read! There are paper, tests, and a community service project but everything is doable and he tells you what he expects! So, getting an A in his class is not hard but you do have to work for it!

Dr. Brady is a solid choice. He mostly lectures the entire class period and you'll need to do quite a bit of reading outside of class. There are four papers and two tests, but he makes it VERY clear what he expects from you. If you keep up on the readings, participate once a week and follow his rubrics, you'll do great.

I took THEO 101 - The Christian Theological Tradition with Dr. Brady, and I enjoyed the course. It was one of the required "Writing Intensive" courses which explained the amount of papers (four official papers and a handful of shorter essays). Brady is an excellent instructor, and if you listen, he is very clear about what it takes to get an A.

Really chill. Just read the material and you should be fine. Only two tests, the midterm and final. 4 papers, and a community service project. Fairly simple class. Totally recommend.

He is a very easy grader, he tends to give 100% a lot of the time (On Papers). There is a usual amount of reading and it is pretty hard to do well on the tests if you do not read. The lectures can be pretty long, but he tries to make the topics as interesting as possible.

Prof. Brady was lit. I liked taking his class a lot, mainly because he was an easy grader. His papers are worth 100 points and the worst grade i got was 88. Really enjoyed him sometimes scatterbrained but still good prof. Also there were only 2 tests, a midterm and the final. do the homework and participate in class and you should be good.

Professor Brady was not the best teacher for theology. He tries, but he talks for too long on one thing and never gets to the rest of the material that was assigned each day. He goes off on random tangents sometimes, but if you know something about theology (like I did), the class is pretty easy. The tests and papers are not bad if you start early.

Brady is a smart guy who knows whats up. Class is lit as per usual. Class is pretty easy, service learning component can be time consuming. I would definitely take Brady again. He is the head of the Theo department so he knows what he's doing.

Brady is a good teacher when it comes to lectures. He makes learning pretty fun, but he isn't the best teacher. He knows what he is talking about, but he isn't very helpful. There is a handful of papers to turn in, and he only likes them written a specific way, otherwise you'll get a bad grade.
