The lectures he gives are very well organized and split into smaller sections where you can view them one at a time in bite sized pieces. The pace he takes is perfect for getting a grasp of course content. I expect nothing less from the head of the department.

Comment:

Took his non-residential online section, and his lecture videos are really just god tier. They're split into short sections, so you can go at your own pace and not feel too overwhelmed the way some hour-long lectures are. He's really good at explaining the concepts, and the class was overall pretty great.

Comment:

Despite being online for COVID, he had excellent prerecordered lectures that allowed for flexibility and rewatches. The homeworks and quizzes could be challenging, but there are a lot of TA's to help with that. He wasn't in charge of exams, but they were fair nonetheless. Overall, just really great lectures.

Comment:

Very good lecturer, explains concepts well. Homework assignments are sometimes harder and sometimes easier. Holds additional office hours to help prep for the exams and will work with you one on one. Exams are similar to homework, but will throw a twist on how to solve the problem which might make them considered hard.

He takes a difficult subject and does his best to break it down for you. The course is tough, but he makes it doable. He's really friendly and cracks jokes during class to relieve some of the apprehension about the subject. He speaks clearly and stops for questions and his handwriting is amazing. Highly recommend him

This guy is definitely the best professor I have ever had, in any subject area. I got a D in PHYS 241 but hopefully I am on track to get an A this semester thanks to him. You can tell that he is passionate about what he is teaching and he actually wants his students to succeed. He always asks every 15 min if anything needs to be clarified

This professor is my favorite. He is interesting, smart, and funny. HW is not graded. You are graded over your ability to explain it if you are chosen that week. This guy makes Power Hours (90 min) entertaining. He makes you feel proud to be in ECE. Read notes,book, and attempt HW before coming to lecture to get the most out of it. Have Fun !

Best Professor I've had since I came to Purdue. Explains everything very well, and makes sure students understand the concepts. His lecture notes are incredible, and has tons of office hours. If you put in the time, he'll teach you everything you need to know and much more.

Dimitri Peroulis is one of those professors you wish you had as an uncle. He lives for the students and is always there whenever you need him, whether it be at 12:00am or 8:30am or whenever. His lecture notes are also top notch.
