This professor is simply amazing. He used to be at Vanderbilt but now is at UVA. He is the most kind, caring professor I've ever had and truly is passionate about all of his students doing well. If you're having trouble, he will go out of his way to help you. 100/10 professor. Would recommend.

I couldn't tell you if he's a good teacher or not because frankly you can not understand a word he says. If you can, avoid this teacher. His tests are pretty hard and you won't learn a lot from him. Maybe a little from trying to figure out his notes but you would have to rely heavily on the text book if you took a class with him.

He is Russian and at first is kind of hard to understand, but once you get past that he is definitely one of the best math teachers I have ever had.
