Comment:

The class itself was an easy A but it was not worth how rude and disrespectful he was to students. He was derogative towards all the students and very immature about handling situations, not to mention ignorant about many historical topics. Will never take anything he teaches again.

Comment:

Attendance is taken as grade, but all he does is lecture. He essentially told us at the beginning that we would be teaching ourselves. All his tests and exams are online along with 3-4 writing assignments unless he hears about cheating. He goes off topic and complains a lot. Avoid him if you actually want to learn something useful.

Comment:

He does attendance as a grade, but I missed about 9 classes and still made a B. His tests are all online as long as he doesn't hear about cheating. I hated him. He is constantly complaining about the new generation which happens to be a majority of his class. He is boring and very annoying. Avoid taking him if you don't like listening to stories.

Comment:

Yes, attendance is mandatory but Depew is extremely knowledgeable and keeps the lectures entertaining for the most part. Grade is determined by 4 exams (with a practice quiz for each chapter) and 4 writing assignments. Information on the exams actually comes directly from your textbook rather than the lectures. Highly recommend due to simplicity.

You cannot miss more than five classes and his lectures are pointless but your attendance grade is an easy grade. The quizzes and exams are all online. Four one paper writing assignments. Easiest history teacher offered.

Probably one of the easiest classes you'll ever take. All of the quizzes and exams are online, and the exam questions are the exact same questions that are on the quizzes. Attendance is mandatory, however the quizzes and exams are based on textbook reading rather than lectures. I would recommend taking this class if you want an easy A.

Great teacher and such a simple class. You take a few quizzes and tests which are all online with lockdown browser. Everything in class is lecture. He is a funny professor and he makes this class extremely easy. I would recommend to everyone

I really liked Mr. Depew unless he was in a bad mood, and you can always tell when he 's in one. The tests are easy if you just study his quizzes. I had two write 4 one page essays in his class and they were probably the most challenging part. If you're looking for an easy A then I don't advise taking his class but overall I did enjoy it.

Depew is a solid professor. If you like history, you literally will love his course because he is so interesting in class. If you hate history, you will literally love his course because it is so easy and all the answers are on quizlet. He is super strict on attendance so you have to show up. He will pick on you if you sit in the front.

Depew was my favorite professor this semester, he is hilarious and very knowledgeable on the subject matter he presents. Out of every lecture of his I've been to I've only seen him look at what was on the presentation he was presenting a couple of times, that's how well he knows his content.

This class is ridiculously easy. All of the chapter quizzes and exams are on Quizlet. You never have to take notes or use the textbook. He lets you out of class early most of the time. He does take attendance every day but you do not have to pay attention at all. Super easy A!!!

I took his online streaming class. All we had to do was stream into the class on time and he would say streamers needed to email the answer to the random question of the day and that is how we were graded for attendance. There are 4 quizzes, exam, and writing assignments for each of the 4 units. Everything is online and you get unlimited tries!

Depew was very interesting for history. He is funny. The class is simple. There are 4 quizzes, one small "paper", and an exam each unit. EVERYTHING for tests/quizzes are on quizlet. Attendance is mandatory and is worth a lot of your grade. Show up and you will get an A.

Comment:

Nice person but his inability to answer emails forced me to by a new computer in order to use the lockdown browser that he requires for virtually all of the class work. I probably wouldn't recommend his class if only because I require a professor to actually communicate with me when I write them emails.
