Comment:

I personally liked this teacher a lot. She was exremely easy: We had 4 papers the semester which were all only 2-4 pages, gramer quizzes which were easy, and reading assignments (effort grade). She also will let you do extra credit that goes towards your final grade.

I did NOT like this teacher at all. She is not very good at "teaching" she will hand out a worksheet and wont go over anything. She gets things mixed up and we are always telling her that it's not right. We have had to write papers but I do not agree to the way she grades them.

Shes is Old, but know her stories. but she grades papers hard and she will call role out like in HS. shes hard to please.Be aware when taking her she is not all there, and shes blind she cant see your papers.

A very helpful,and inteligent instructor. She seems to help you more if you seek out her help individually. She is also concerned about your personal well being. I had an issue arise during the semester and she was very concerned for my personal well being. She is more than willing to work with you if you put effort into your own work.

She might know her stuff but she does not know how to teach. She tells you how she wants a paper written and when you write it that way it is wrong. I hope I never have to suffer through another class with her. But unfortunately instructors are not assigned in the English department until after registration. Avoid this instructor at all cost.

She is a good instuctor, and she knows her stuff. But being in a developmental class she needs to spend more time on the basics and not just think we know it. She is more than willing to help if you take the time to search out help from her. All-in-all a good instructor, and very personable.

If I had a chance to do this all over, I would NOT have taken Wyatt. She is like a really bad high school teacher. She's very strict and looks more at grammar than content. She overlaps assignments so you don't know what the hell you're SUPPOSED to be doing. I would not reccommend.

Very thoughtfull and helpful, especially in bad real life situations. Great teacher and a great person, had many good conversations even out side of class about class material.

Comment:

Doris is one of the best professors I've ever had. She has a fountain of knowledge waiting to be tapped but usually the lame ass freshman are just there for the grade. Ask questions and participate in class discussion it's English. Turns out she worked at my high school with my mom until 1997. Disregard anything these other students have said.

Very challenging. Very strict on grammar. Good teacher. The groups are fun, and we learn from each other's ideas. I am enjoying the class so far and am learning tons about improving my writing. Mrs. Wyatt is a tough teacher, but is fair and approachable. Be teachable and you'll do fine in her class.
