Prof. Light is the sweet grandfatherly figure that nobody realizes they needed. He is great about teaching the material in a way that students understand, and he is more than willing to meet with students outside of class if they have concerns or need help with something. If you get the chance, take a class with him.

Comment:

Dr. Light is the perfect professor. He is so excited to teach his students everyday, it's so cute. Very knowledgeable about biology, like he literally knows everything! He also knows what he is talking about with grades/studying. He is always accessible outside class and answers questions thoroughly. Highly recommend!

Dr. Light is one of the best professors that you will have in your college career. For starters, he is a great person. He always has a smile on his face, and he's always good with lightening the mood with a joke. As for his teaching skills, he is great. He explains the material thoroughly, good with questions, and gets the best out of his students.

Definitely take Dr. Light's BIOL 120 class; he is an amazing professor. He explains the material in a really easy-to-understand way, and as long as you do all the homework and study hard for the quizzes and tests, you'll do more than fine. If you like Bio, definitely take his class. If not, you can still do really well as long as you work hard.

Professor Light is amazing. He teaches a very hard class to teach, and he does it well. For intro bio courses, you have to appease students with a lot of background and those with none. This is hard, but he does a good job in teaching, and he is fair.
