Physics is a hard subject, but Dr. Laub is a great teacher! I took Physics 040 & 042 with him. I had to put in a lot of work and studying, though Dr. Laub was always there to answer my questions. I would highly recommend him.

I took Physics 040 this summer and was not looking forward to it, but Laub made the class enjoyable and very easy to understand! He's a very fair grader, gives a lot of points on the test just for trying. He definitely cares about what he's teaching and his students.

Laub is incredible. He's got a great sense of humor, and is clearly interested in physics and science as a whole. He's the best pick for lab too. All tests are 4 questions worth 25 points, and he gives massive 'you tried' points. Not to mention he'll replace your lowest exam grade with your Final exam grade if you do better!

Dr. Laub is a great professor, had i taken this class with any other professor I am sure i would not have passed. He is always more than willing to help whether it is in office hours, or making an appointment. He grades based on if you know what youre doing/trying to do, not on the perfection of the math. Really great professor, nice AF

Dr. Laub is great! He is extremely helpful. He holds review sessions outside of class and has plenty of office hours for extra help. He is stright to the point. His test are challenging but if you attend class, go to review sessions and do practice problems the test aren't to bad.

Dr.Laub is a great guy. ALWAYS willing to help you out if you need help. Very reasonable tests, and perfect amount of homework for learning the material while still not "overdoing it." Nice and funny guy, willing to talk with students about anything. Fun, interesting, and easy labs to comprehend. I think my only complaint is that he is just so smart that he may make the physics a little to complicated to learn for some, but again, he means the best and is always willing to clarify and help!

He's definitely new to teaching so he can get thrown off when you ask questions in class but overall he's extremely helpful and clear, personally the class was a little slow paced but i didn't care cuz it just made it easier to get a good grade. Most importantly he's a feakin cutie! the best part of going to class was gettin to look at him :]

At first I wasn't sure I liked the way Laub taught, but after a few weeks I realized how great of a professor he is. He is truly interested in Physics and what his students have to say about it. Ask him for help when you need it, he'll give it to you!

Laub is a great professor as far as explaining physics and having lab. He gives enough homework that you practice what you learned but you aren't doing too much of it. He's usually clear with the material but sometimes he only gives one example of something. He should really give a couple more. He's a nice guy though and really cute.

He understands not everyone loves Astronomy. Takes the time to teach us what we are going to be doing in the lab. He is always more than willing to help if you don't understand what you're doing in the lab. Def recommend him esp if you hate Astronomy like me!

Awesome class. Professor Laub was very, very helpful and the labs were fun and interesting. His quizzes aren't bad and although the labs may look hard, he makes it easy. Take him if you have the chance! Great professor!

Does he know anything about physics. I had better chances of learning it on my own than him explaining it. And boy did he have his little buddy favorites in that class! He would talk to them for hours and disregard the rest of us!
