Hardest 3 credit elective class I have yet taken. I am sorry I didn't drop this class sooner. The difficulty for his tests and quizzes are off the charts. I have taken advanced physics and was easier to understand and want to learn.

He is very knowledgeable and loves what he teaches. Maybe a little too much? A lot of work and tough tests. When we have our conferences, he expects you to be engaged and will call you out if you go silent. But i did learn a lot from the class even though i didn't love it.

This class was terrible for only three credits you spend 8-10 hours on the class every week. The tests were never anything from the lecture, and they are worded in the trickiest way. Try your best to get a different professor. Received a 90.8 and ended up with a B.... not sure how that worked...

Enjoyed online ethics class with Professor Bursey. He does go on a lot but it is entertaining and there is a point to his stories. Overall class was a lot of work but it was not stressful which made it much easier to get through. Very good at clarification of expectations and wants his students to succeed. Would recommend this professor!

The teacher is nice and everything don't get me wrong, but the class is ridiculous. I felt that he wasn't teaching the class he would go on and on about anything and I would leave the class completely clueless.

He is so smart. Pay attention in class & do assignments it will be hard to not get an A. Essay questions on quizes(which you will have every class almost) & tests are hard in that he is looking for certain points to be highlighted in your answers. There is a take home final exam & a 10 min presentation you think up & give at the end.

Excellent Professor! This man is extremely smart. Very down-to-earth & helpful. The class materials are easy, but there's too much work. You will read at least 30 chapters of the Bible a week and write analysis about them. Grades are based on daily HW, class check-ups, midterm, and a final.

Bursey is an awesome teacher! The material he covers is hard, but he makes it as easy as possible for you to understand. Of course, his lectures are long and somewhat tiresome, but you end up learning more than you set out to in the first place. A+
