He is very unprofessional. He uses other professor's notes and material. Is not sure what he is talking about, hence is unwilling to answer questions. Seems a bit off, I think he might be an addict. He fidgets and scratches himself a lot. I got a good grade, but the people who usually ask him question he cannot answer were all failed.

Had him for Lab and Lec. Lab was easy, and we got out early. Lec was boring and he used some other teacher lecture notes. The midterm and the final were written by the other ce20 teacher. I dont even think he know what was on the midterm and final, final was very difficult. Very unclear on what he wants, lab project was 20+ hours of outside work.

Had him 4 lab. Doesn't really teach you and leaves early, but he is so chill about the assignments. Always extends deadlines. Very nice man! Take him 4 CE20, if u can't get him 4 lecture really do get him 4 lab.

I liked this teacher. Shahbodaghlou is a very outgoing teacher who takes his time out to help students. Highly recommend. His class is a little work but it pays off. Great teacher!

Shahbodaghlo is really very helpful professor... he puts in lots of his own time for students. Class was hard so were the tests but he curves it to help students. If you could solve hw problems on your own then you're in good shape. Asks 3 questions on each midterms and no concept. Some problems straight out of the book.

He is a good guy. He is not the sharpest dude around, but he really tries to help you. Doing the homework is an absolute must! Make sure you understand because the class builds off of previous material. Go to study sessions too. Tests are out of the book, but tough, and he tells you the kind of problems that will be on the test. Lots of work.

Repeated this class again (same teacher), and BARELY got out alive. This class is really no joke. I worked four times harder than last time and ended up with a C. Homework is only 10%, but it's essential.. don't copy it down, you really gotta work on it. Apparently the other guy is easier, but statics as a whole is difficult.

He is an interesting guy. Seems to rub people the wrong way with his classroom banter and silly analogies. However he does curve, he does offer Extra Credit in the end and he does take his questions for the exams STRAIGHT OUT OF THE BOOK, so if you know where to study from. However the class is WAY too hard for only two units.

got an A+ in his class. I still hate him. my first A+ at SJSU but this class is far from easy; i earned my grade. it's literally like a full-time job for me, 40 hours a week for 2 units. you will probably study more for statics than your other courses. shahbodaghlou is the worst teacher ever. very obnoxious, never helped me.

Haha, yes, he does tell you to show up on Chi Epsilon a lot. But he's a nice guy and answers all your questions. His marking is fair and averages according to your section. However the material is too hard for a 2 unit course.

This teacher is beyond awful...a miserable experience for me. He doesn't teach you anything, and enjoys mocking people. Stay away, but that might be inevitable. CE 99 material is difficult, but he makes it impossible. Can't teach, can't help, not clear, difficult exams, & shows no leniency.

this is his first semester teaching this class. and i think he did a great job. very clear lectures. wants students to learn the basics of statics rather than the more complicated stuff in the course. grades on point basis rather than grade basis. so he'll take average of class to determine letter grades.. so take him!

Unprepared classes,unclear explanations. Classes are boring.The objectives on the team project were really blurry, making it difficult to complete.He seemed to me very bright, but it looks like he does not have time enough to dedicate to teaching.
