Comment:
A stickler for morphology and good prose, so don't expect to translate by ear into clunky English. Demeanor is serene and slightly detached, with a lovely old-fashioned sense of humor. ALWAYS available when you need him. Doesn't play the self-esteem game--will candidly point out your weaknesses so you can improve. As great as teacher as as scholar.

An excellent and quite humorous professor. A little esoteric at times and sporadically/inconsistently tough on students. All faults aside, though, Frank the Hammer is a brilliant fellow and has a real desire to help his students learn. He loves his job, and it's obvious.

Dr. Mantello is very organized and has clear expectations of his students. He is not unreasonably demanding, nor is he too lenient. He likes respect and hard work. He is a very balanced teacher.
