For all the courses I took with Dr. Morris, I found him to be highly approachable, sincerely interested in student success, a treasure trove of information from experience, clear, fair, and one of the best and most memorable professors I've ever had. Highly recommended.

I am currently on his summer abroad. I would rather be dead. I hate everyone who said this would be fun. We are at museums from 830 in the morning until 6 at night. Our entire group is miserable, we have 4 free days during the whole month long trip. He brought his whole family too which pissed everyone off. Do not even consider this class.

The class is pretty chill overall because for most of the class you just sit in a group and go over your homework. He is a nice guy and cares for the welfare of his students. He tells you what to expect for the test, so they can be easy depending on how you have looked over the material. Homework takes a long time and is daily.

Very approachable and sincere professor. The class was rather difficult, but that was more because Latin is a difficult language and not the fault of Dr. Morris. Don't think its going to fit in my schedule, but if I have the chance I would take another one of his classes.

How i wish i was going to Greece with Dr. Morris this summer! A very soft spoken and nice gentleman. Translation every night for homework, and you either go over it in groups or he calls on people. 3 tests and a final. Usually consits of vocab, parsing, translations from the book, and declining verbs. I wish he was teaching 202.

not a class goes by with Morris where he doesnt mention the summer trip to greece. he loves what he does, but can get off topic easily and tends to call on students randomly. you MUST keep up in the class-everythng builds on previous material. grades based on 3 tests, the final, & daily participation based on last night's hw. be wary if you registe

Very laid-back and agreeable professor. He's eager to help, makes soft jokes that are hilarious but easy to miss, and though he does often call on random students to translate or parse, he is not demeaning but instead, very helpful. Recommended!

Those who think he is boring just don't appreciate his teaching style- he is very thorough, and very softspoken. He is an incredibly nice professor, though, and makes a class that could be fifty times harder very reasonable. I strongly recommend him.

Doesn't really teach you anything, talks more about Caesar's battlelines than Latin...lots of reading in partners, but no one knows what's going on...VERY BORING!

He's so adorable. Wife is nice, too! Not a tough attendance policy, *everything* is hand-written so as to be easy! He's easy, but you do have to know your stuff... and you're right, the answer is always the article!
