I love this professor! Not because he was an easy A teacher but he always had a good attitude everyday in class. His homework, quizzes, and tests are all open book. If you really want to challenge yourself don't take the option of using your notes.

He tells so many random stories throughout class but always makes sure to go back to the lesson. Like other reviews say, he may not cover everything on the test but he DOES have great lectures that have helped me on tests. He's very helpful & if you do the hwk, take notes, come to class, you'll do great. :)

Professor Minami is a nice guy. However, if you want to LEARN, this Professor isn't for you. While his tests & Quizzes are open note/ book, they cover nothing that's taught in class. He often talks about completely random things not relevant to math what so ever. Everyone in my class cheated their way through his class, which he was oblivious to.

Open note tests, take home quizzes, turn in homework anytime. On review days for quizzes he gives you most of the answers. Attendance not needed - just show up for review and test dates. If you really want to understand material he'll go over it with you in detail. Very easy to talk to, willing to help and is very flexible.
