I took her for Russian. She is a good professor and very caring. She does give lots of homework, but it helps to pass the test. I got an A because I knew a little bit of Russian before taking this class and it helped me. This class might be a bit hard for those who don't know the language.

Comment:

Great professor. Lots and lots of homework. Takes several hours to complete the homework. There are tests after every chapter of the textbook but they're pretty straightforward even if you've been moderately paying attention in class.

Comment:

Galina Frumkina is a great professor, she's makes the class enjoyable by igniting conversations with her students. Good class but she gives way too much homework, as much as 2 hours of homework after a lecture, thats if you're learning this language for the first time. very accelerated class but you'll come out learning a lot of Russian.

Horrible!!!!!! Just finished taking her for Spanish 2 and she gives wayyy too many assignments! As if you have nothing in life to do but take her class! Its an online class, if people are taking online classes chances are they are working full time and have many other commitments!! Way too much work, hard to keep up and STILL NO GRADE POSTED! Smh

This class was pretty easy but thats only because spanish is easy for me. i didnt really like teacher though. she is a nice person and easy to talk to but i didnt like the way she teaches at all. somitmes she gives faces when people give the wrong answer and its a little rude. also, her class it soooo boring. looking at my watch every sec!

Pretty straight forward. If you study, her class is pretty easy. There were 4 exams and she drops the lowest one. There is also a skit, which counts towards your grade and is pretty easy. Too bad she doesn't review for tests. -_-

Comment:

She teaches at a pretty quick pace but you walk away knowing a lot of Spanish. She gives a test about every two weeks, and if you do the homework that accompanies it you should have no problem. If you're lazy like me, you don't have to turn the homeworks in until the day of the final. 5 homeworks, 5 tests, 1 final. I would recommend this teacher.

Oh god, I really hated this class. It moved so fast. She never really "taught" per se, I did learn some new spanish but the class was not at all interesting. I would NOT recommend her as a Professor. However, she grades you on direct work. 5 Quizzes with the lowest grade dropped. Homework that can be handed in on the last day and a Final.

She's really disorganized, but you do end up learning a bit of spanish & grammar for spanish. There are 5 exams (drops the lowest score) & the final. They're all atleast 5 pages but follow the format of the manual. Just study the vocab & pay attention in class (take noted to study with!) you should be fine!

well this class are hard however she is helpful, her tests are super long.Honestly I am not spn speaker and I got B+ for her class. Not bad he?If she likes you you are in a good place if she doesnt she will never like .She doesnt give F so you must suffer with D.Good luck

OMG, this prof. is rediculous. I had her this summer, span1 thinking it would be easy. Her exams are very hard because she is big on spelling. She takes points off for everything. I dont know what posess anyone to say this women is easy the homework is easy page of every chapter in the book that you are working on. Plus the exams are extensive I dont know about anyone else but because this class is required I dont care for it I would like to get my grade and be done with it. But for those who love spanish be my guest
