She is the best professor I have had ever!! Amazing teacher. She really enjoys her job. I love to write. A lot of assignments but as long as you do the three research papers and all your journals and show initiative you will do well. Sad she retired but amazing teacher!

She's REALLY nice. One of those people you just instantly like. She's very compassionate and cares a lot about her students passing. Her classes are easy and interesting enough. Cons: She gives a TON of writing assignments. She's also not very responsive to emails and doesn't post the class info homework online so make sure to go to class!

I Recommend Professor Coleman is an astonishing woman. She works on your weakness, and she will give you ideas, a great motivator, she lessons to your concerns. My advice work on your journals for all of her classes and you will be fine. If you miss a class, team up with three to four classmates. “You will be fine”

Comment:

I had Prof Coleman for Poetry. I really enjoyed this class and did learn a lot about the way poetry works. The class is simple but she answers any questions you have without hesitation. If you have Q's or need help on a paper or journals, she will help! She even proofread papers of mine that were not for her class. Fun class and an easy A!

So here's how she works. 5 papers, final and nature journals. 3 out of the 5 papers are papers based on the writings from the book "Nortons Book of Nature Writing". The rest of the two papers are called "Nature Journals". These Nature Journals are ten pages long, single spaced. She's very understanding, but as you can see, she makes you write ALOT!

She's the easiest prof I've ever taken. She treats you like you're in kindergarden or a high school english class. Talks a lot. Only attended class to get the journal assignments. She grades weird and doesn't explain it. If she offers you extra credit by attending another lecture she's giving don't bother, it's not worth much and is a waste of time

She is an incredible woman. She will work with you on your weakness, errors, simple mistakes and she will guide you. Read all the stories she assigns you. It’s amazing how much you can learn from them. Also, we read the Scarlet Letter; a book I found fascinating. Don’t skip class, Read, work on your assignment and journals and you will be fine.

The greatest English teacher I've ever had in my entire life. She's so patient, helpful, consistent and a fair grader. She is so personable and easily approachable. I love English but I NEVER had it the way she taught it. She gives people some chances to fix their essays and whatnot and will always tell you how to improve. She's a sweetheart.

I love this professor. I believe she only teaches 122 NATURE so be aware of that but the class is very very good. Shes a tough grader but very fair. The class goes by fast and she gives ample time for reading and homework. Great English professor, definitely recommended.

She is the BEST prof. In the department. Class is so interesting, it goes by fast. Explains everything out and such an easy prof. I love her :) definitely recommend on taking her class. :)
