Took Calc 1 and 2 with her freshmen year first semester. Does not cover all the material in class. Checks attendance sometimes, but not sure how she used it for grading. Very easy quizzes and exams, but homework grading is total BS. Very nice lady, yet not the most interesting one for sure. Take her class only if you know the material already.

Poor teacher. All she will ever write on the board is a theorem and then proof. Very few examples in class and simply cannot explain math concepts. Test are not bad but she grades very hard taking away many points for simple math errors. only take class if you enjoy teaching yourself.

She takes attendance for the first week and never does it again. She's a very easy teacher only to be balanced out by the fact that she can't explain math if he life depended on it. Overall, take the class for it's easiness especially if you've done calc before.

Relatively easy course. Not a very good teacher, makes errors frequently and seems to be confused a lot. Quizzes are easy. I got a B because of the final, so just study enough and you should be fine if you take her class.

If you like teaching yourself 100% of course material, then sign right up for any of prof. tashjians classes. she rants on and on in lectures and barely covers material on tests, and she usually uses conferences for quizzes instead of homework review. I did fine in this course but was NOT impressed.

She is very nice as others have said, but her lectures are very boring and slow. You cover everything you need to know for the final and her tests and quizzes are easy. If you take her class, you will learn math just fine, but be very bored (and sleep a lot) in the process. Overall I would recommend her if you're looking for an easy A.

She might not be the most interesting teacher, but she's a very nice person. She covers the material and it's really easy to get an A. Her quizzes and tests are easy, and she's pretty nice too. She just gets a little boring, but she doesn't really mindd if you sleep in class so it doesn't matter.

had her for 1021 and 2621 she is always right and knows what she is doing she has a passion for math, she takes attendance sometimes, her classes are soo friggin easy if u fail it ur fault and not hers she is helpful whenever u ask her and very clear but she is very boring (prolly cuz its math) and she blinks alot wink wink ;)

Really easy class. Sure, she does randomly burst out into laughter, and she does go a bit slow, but overall good. Learned well enough in just the lectures (no office hours or anything) to get the quizzes done in ~5 min and the tests in ~20 min. Quizzes and tests are straightforward and cover the material taught in class.

she es by far the WORST teacher i've had in my life. she just rambles on in her lectures and has no idea the class doesnt no what she's talking about. she gives homeworks for the same date on exams that have nothing to do with the test!! she's useless, crazy and just not worth it. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Not a bad professor.. easy to understand. Though grades her exams a bit unfairly. In one instance, I went too far with my answer and gave her more than she asked for, but I still gave her the answer she was looking for. Didn't get any credit for the problem. Decent overall though.

I don't know what all you guys are talking about, but I took her this year for Calc 1, and she was amazing. Although she did teach slowly, it seems that we learned more from it. I feel bad I couldn't take Gloria's class again. (I thought her twitches and insane laughter were amusing!) Many of my friends switched into her class, and they love it.
