Jan is a great teacher, she is so funny, and she makes her lectures fun. she involves the class all through the lectures and keeps everyone interested. She makes sure you understand everything, and I love how you can retake the quizzes until you get the grade you want. Jan is one of my favourite professors!

Jan's a friendly, occasionally funny person who does a reasonable job of teaching a very dry subject: English. She does a fine job when the material is more cut and dry, such as grammar, but was a little lacking when explaining what was required for our larger assignments. FINE looking "older" woman, by the way.

Really nice lady. Jan is easy to understand, and her assignements actually have a purpose, you will use her teachings during your life. She also helps take some of the boredom out of grammer.
